Cosón Bay

A really great, relaxing resort with one of the most amazing beach spot I had to experience. We booked directly via a condo owner on Airbnb and the trip was great. It was very quiet most of the time and tons of families were there enjoying the pools of various depths as well as the beach. However, the overall condition of the resort is starting to show some decay signs: a lot of tiles are missing in the pools, the exterior showers are barely working, some chairs were broken, etc. Those are far from ruining your time there but you can't help to notice. Also, the restaurant is just okay and pretty expensive for the food and service you get. The bartenders and waiters aren't super friendly and don't really care about giving a good service. However, the same cannot be said to the staff at the reception and the house keeper, which were really friendly, warm and welcoming.

It pains me to write this review as this is the third time I stay here. Other times I rented thru Airbnb and had no issues out the ordinary. This time I booked directly with the Hotel website. Beware of the charges that they do and they can't guarantee what apartment you get, ours smelled like raw sewage. I booked and got a confirmation for a total price in dollars, one week before we arrive they charged me nearly 400 dollars more. Told me that the pesos to dollar exchange rate fluctuates, buts that's bull as I paid in dollars and dollars don't fluctuate. then it became another excuse and they charged me the correct amount and then cancelled it. then it was something else. after weeks of back and forth, they instruct me to contact my bank instead but how can I make a claim if THEY CHARGED that amount. I gave up, they are inept and swindlers. Its sad they behaved this way and it seems like management is near non existing. Room says you get water everyday, then it comes every 2 days. On the busiest day, dec 31, somehow they didn't have enough chairs or towels for guests, do they know how to plan? breakfast can be a 15 min wait or 40 min, never sure why. so many things that we ordered, as simple as a glass of white wine, the answer is : we don't have it.Its surprising that on one the busiest week of the year somehow they were out of so many things, do they have a manager? Its sad that it is such a nice beach and lovely staff yet they don't seem to be trained or supported.

The beach is awesome. Unfortunately, the price one pays is not reflected in the state of the rooms. Too many ruined down details and basic things missing that frankly makes you mad since they are really simple to repair. The staff is amazing but entangled trying to keep up with all the clients demands resulting from the lack of maintenance. It is a shame. This place used to be tops. Not anymore, and certainly not the “delux paradise “ they sell. Even the pool is missing tiles …

Property needs maintenance, everything is deteriorating. Staff absent. Except for Julio at reception who is very friendly and helpful.

Good place to stay. A bit dated but that is made up by the friendly staff.

Me encantaron las instalaciones de Coson Bay buenas atenciones ambiente muy tranquilo para descansar y disfrutar en pareja, en familia o solo, muy amable el personal de recepcion, la playa es hermosa muy virgen, la piscina linda y bien cuidada

Die Anlage besteht aus Condos und Hotel. Grosszügige Condos mit hervorragender Küchenausstattung und edlen Materialien. Ausserdem ist die gesamte Anlage barrierefrei und so gibt es auch Zimmer, die perfekt für Menschen mit Einschränkungen, bzw mit Rollstuhl sind. Selbst der Pool und Strand sind mit einem besonderen schwimmfähigen Rollstuhl zu nutzen. Ach ja...der Strand ist ein Traum. Unbebaut, genial für einen Lauf und zum Relaxen unter Palmen. Eine unaufgeregte, ruhige, stilvolle Anlage ohne Schnörkel.
