Motel 6 Las Cruces, NM - Telshor

I like staying at this Motel 6 when we come to Las Cruces because it is centrally located to all the places we go to and it is very clean. The check in people at the front counter are always polite and helpful with any concerns. We also never have a problem with bringing our fur baby with us.

Good area. Elevator broken, hot tub broken, door lock not working. Very surprised and disappointed.

Terrible place, first at check in very unpleasant woman at the desk, place smelled bad from lobby to the room. No toiletry in the room that was very dirty, sheets looked like they were not changed! No Wi-Fi, no reception answers were picked up. A total disaster stay away!

It’s a budget motel, so I wasn’t expecting like top tier quality, but my room had mold in it, which I only discovered the day before my reservation was over. They switched me to a different room immediately, which I appreciated. However that mold must have been there for a while…I’m not sure how it was missed because it was behind the trash can. That’s my biggest complaint. Outside that, the beds were softer than I’d like and housekeeping didn’t clean my room at all, even when I was told they would. The day they were supposed to, they made my bed but didn’t take the garbage or provide fresh towels.

Pool not working, staff not available, called front desk for assistance before our stay. Was hung up on by a man.

The hotel looked really nice from outside, but don’t ignore past negative reviews because they still hold true! The bathroom was not properly cleaned. The sink had toothpaste residue and small hair pieces. A towel that was hanging looked like someone with make up wiped their face on the towel. I don’t see how the cleaning crew would not notice it. The room door had to be slammed to properly shut. The pillows were not completely covered because the pillow covers were way too small. You could hear your neighbor’s television along with their conversations. Do yourself a favor and check into Marriott across the street.

This property is definitely a cut above what you expect of a Motel 6. The only thing that separates it from the next higher level hotel is the absence of breakfast, but I never eat hotel breakfasts anyway. Definitely a good buy for the price.

This was one of the cleanest and nicest Motel 6s I have ever stayed at. Had an easy check in. Room was nice and the bathroom was awesome. The night shift lady that checked us in was very polite. We had no problems at all

Great location!!!! Clean rooms and bathrooms. Good staff always there to help when needed.
