La VIE Voyage

Staying in this confidential address La Vie Voyage is a treat if you wish to stay in a place where you are going to be considered as a real guest, not an anonymous client surrounded by a myriad of impersonal staff. The house is quite charming and quiet. Each room has its own personality and is impeccable. Mattresses are firm, pillows are fluffy yet firm. Marie-Ange is your hostess and does everything all by herself although she also has got a job at the hospital in Tours. Breakfast is home made (macarons, scones, cookies), you just wonder when she finds time to sleep. You also have a choice of cereal bread (so good!), local jams (apricot, fig, strawberry, etc), fresh yogurt.

What gem, fantastic location nestled in the beautiful town of Langeais. Marie-Ange was the perfect host. We stayed in the Boston/New York room which is exquisitely designed. Marie-Ange prepared a wonderful breakfast everyday with fresh baked goods. She also prepared us private dinner made with locally sourced products. Highly recommend this quaint guest house. Be sure to explore the town and the château.

I had a wonderful stay at La Vie Voyage. Marie-Ange is a fabulous host. The rooms are specious, comfortable, clean, modern and newly decorated. The breakfast is a treat! The courtyard is a heaven. I highly recommend Marie-Ange beautiful home.

The accommodation was super, big nice room with lovely breakfast with home made marmelade and cakes. Friendly and caring owner, she did give us good information about the city and nearby restaurangs . Location was central, only few minutes walk to the castle and center of the village. Very nice town with one of the most interesting castles in the region and which has a nice park and history. We do warmly recommend this B & B for perfect holiday stay!

Hostess greeted us with a complaint about our heavy luggage. The windy unsteady spiral staircase is most difficult to navigate. She could have waited for us to help OR not complained. When we were leaving, it was very clear to her and us when our luggage was to be picked up. However, when transfer came to pick up our luggage, there was no answer at the B&B. As a result, when we arrived from biking all day, our luggage was not at the next location. Our luggage arrived eventually but this could have been totally avoided. Too bad because everything else was ok.

If you want to meet a real angel, go stay at La Vie Voyage with its superb host, Marie-Ange. This venue is a perfect base for visiting the castles in the Loire valley. Its rooms are tastefully decorated, spacious and very clean. The place is very quite and the comfortable beds allow for sleeping exquisitely. Breakfast is a real treat with Marie-Ange’s home baked pastries and cakes, self made yoghurt and locally made organic juices and jam. Moreover, Marie-Ange prepares take-away lunch in a basket (‘pick-nic’) or diner at your request, everything equally delicious. She has a fine stock of local wines and knows the region very well, offering welcome advice.

Location is perfect, the center of town is 5 minutes away. We were also thrilled about the wonderful breakfast Marie Ange prepared every morning. Room in the attick is beautifully restored. Roof a bit low for tall guests, we are 1.85 and 2.00 meters. A wonderful experience.

Tout était parfait et au delà de nos attentes ! Le dîner était délicieux . la literie au top , les matériaux naturels et là décoration rendent cet endroit tellement paisible et agréable . Partout où vous posez le regard c est joli et harmonieux. Merci Marie Ange et Bravo !

Séjour en couple chez Marie-Ange et ses enfants. Nous avons séjourné dans la chambre « Madidina » qui est parfaite avec un excellent confort. Mobilier et produits de qualité. Situé en plein centre ville avec des parkings gratuits à proximité et proche du château d’Azay le Rideau. Merci pour votre accueil et gentillesse Marie-Ange. Christelle et Cédric .
