A comfortable, moderate cost hotel in Lakeland. Our room, 120 was typical. Plastic cups, adequate towels, one bar of hand soap, and the usual toiletries. We sat at the pool and sipped beverages as a storm approached. The ice machine on the 1st floor is inoperable so one must go to the machine on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The complimentary breakfast is average with cereals, croissants, toast, juices, and coffee…. no scrambled eggs or omelettes. A makeshift “bar” is in the lobby providing $4 beer and wine plus tax. I recommend walking across the street to the 7/11 for your beverages. An Applebee’s is a short walk away but I strongly recommend Ford’s Garage 1.2 miles in the distance. The experience is well worth the 7 minute drive.
