Baymont by Wyndham Lake Park Valdosta I75

This was a stop on a trip to Florida with my sons. The room was small (as was the bathroom) but it was clean and convenient and I felt safe. We slept well and got up to complete our trip the next morning. It is a hotel that is more budget friendly, so I wouldn’t expect anything fancy but it was exactly what we needed

This hotel was one of the more reasonable options in the area with reviews that weren't all negative. Overall, the hotel is good. Our room was clean, smelled good and the staff was kind. They do NOT have an elevator, so stairs is the only option. Breakfast was provided, small, but filled us up.

I rarely write reviews but do find them to be helpful, and I appreciate the reviews other people take time to share. This hotel is obviously a budget hotel but I feel that it deserves 5 stars in that category. I was so impressed by the cleanliness of our room, significantly cleaner than more pricey hotels we’ve stayed at recently. The room was on the smaller side but there was plenty of space for a pack n play crib. Our room had a nice refrigerator and microwave, both in fine condition. The breakfast was plentiful which was a surprise with a full parking lot. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Our room was quiet and we slept well in the comfortable and clean beds. My one piece of advice that I will also do next visit is to bring painters tape to block the hallway light along the door frame. I prefer sleeping in pitch darkness. Thank you to the owners and staff of this nice hotel!

Room was clean. Not fancy but serviceable. Liked the shower versus tub/ shower combo. Breakfast area was clean but food mediocre. Overall, satisfied for a one night stay while traveling. This was obviously an older two story hotel that had been refurbished. No elevator so might not work for disabled or elderly.

The new female clerk was extremely nice and knowledgeable. The guy helping or training her was rude. He told me to put a shirt on and I had just left the pool area to get a drink from his little store. The room needed repair but I was not told before I rented and had to bring to his attention. The food biscuits were crunchy and hard and eggs and sausage were like warm at best. Milk was expired by 5 days but they did not remove it. I would have given them one star if it hadn’t been for the so nice lady that checked us in

The hotel And Room were clean. The staff was amazing. So friendly and fun after being on the road for 10 hours. I did not get the names of the two ladies that checked us in but they were so welcoming, helpful and fun! Breakfast was really good too!

Our room was clean and comfortable. The rate was very reasonable. We just stayed overnight on our travels home.

There was no housekeeping service until you stayed for 3 days. There was one small waste basket for the whole room which was not adequate for a 3-night stay. We asked housekeeping for trash removal and towels after night 2 and they said they would but did not provide service. I took the trash to the kitchen area up front and informed the front desk. they apologized but did not provide clean Towles. After the 3rd night of our 5-night stay, they did empty the trash and change the sheets and the towels, but the floors were not cleaned, or bathroom swept. The toilet barley flushed, and you could see the scratch marks from snaking. The bathtub/shower popped and creaked with every step, SO LOUD! I'm sure you could hear it outside the room and upstairs. First and last stay at a Baymont by Windham. We are not picky people. Honest review. Just poor service and facilities.

Just needed a place to lay my head for the night, so didn’t really use any amenities, didn’t even eat the breakfast. But, I had a very pleasant night’s sleep. Clean, quiet and comfortable. A few close eating options in the area.
