"This is our second year visiting this hotel and we came back as it was so family friendly. The staff are incredibly friendly and really do make the stay. We used the Maro club every day and our daughters are in love with Maro, the Hermet Crab! The pools are very safe and there are lots of good splash bits for smaller kids! They make a big effort to make sure people with small children don’t feel out of place, they have selections for baby’s and the adult food it good. Honestly it wasn’t great we wouldn’t have come back it is just a lovely environment. Big shout out to the ladies that man the Maro club, they are amazing!"

"Muito elevado preço.As pessoas disseram que o alojamento e o pequeno-almoço eram muito bons, MAS era lixo.A casa de casais que correram o local não se importava com o cliente.Não era permitido fumar Na casa, MAS, claro, eles fizeram. Mesmo no quarto, tudo estava cheiro, e tivemos que pedir outra sala lá em cima, apenas para não inalar o fumo.Também a cama que tive, uma cama de folga, não tinha alguns pratos de madeira. O dono disse que não o viu, mas tenho certeza que ela continua a tentar usar esta cama, e se alguém vê que está partido, eles substituem-na. A mesma coisa com a luz no quarto, ELA Disse que alguém iria vir amanhã para corrigir, MAS tenho certeza que eles continuam a dizer o mesmo a todos, porque o custo Da energia será menor.A rede de mosquitos também foi quebrada e tivemos um sono muito mau. O pequeno-almoço era tão pobre, que decidimos não comer muitos deles, provavelmente aqueles que ficaram. At the end when we checked out and we’re forced to pay an additional 30€ for the foldable bed, and on ******** they say: no additional costs for your 17 year old child. After some calls to make sure it’s not fake, we decided to pay. Pagamos por estadia por cartão, e o proprietário disse que temos de pagar o 30€ adicional em dinheiro, o que, obviamente, significa que ainda é comum pagar sob a mesa infelizmente. Girandella Valamar Collection Resort
"We have been coming to Girandella for adults for the last 5 years once every year. It has been great and we love it. In 2026 however major changes to the food concept have been made. There is no included lunch buffet nor evening snacks anymore. Instead a credit system for extra pay is in place which frankly is not attractive to most guests especially since the Rebelle restaurant remains excluded/closed. Why would adult guests want to eat at the family restaurant? It all feels like a top down cost cutting measure and leads to people not coming anymore or spending their money on local businesses. The staff is still awesome and super nice but here also head count was reduced and the team is struggling to keep up during high demand times. That is not fair to the staff and guests."
Boutique Hotel Adoral
"This hotel has a great location on the pedestrian promenade of Rabac, with numbered parking spaces allocated to guests on the road behind which is great (you're given a key for a padlocked space on arrival, if you advise them in advance that you will have a car). Breakfast (included in our rate) was a good buffet selection with particularly nice fresh sliced fruit and fresh bread to slice yourself. Breakfast staff were very helpful and provided hot drinks and were generally very on the ball. Our double bed was comfortable. Rooms feel rather corporate and impersonal but are fine. Standard rooms are below the level of the walkway so you only have a sea view when standing up but it was nice to have chairs out on our own section of terrace even if not private, given people can look down on you from outside! If you want more privacy, ie a room with a balcony on a higher floor, then you need to choose a more expensive room category. The terrace gets the sun most of the day so is very hot, with the glass screen by the walkway keeping any breeze away. There were no proper chairs inside our standard room, just one stool by the desk/mirror table. There is however a wardrobe complete with minibar fridge and kettle and supplies for hot drinks, plus a safe. A complimentary bottle of water was provided in the room on our 1st day but not replaced on our second day. It was a shower over the bath. Personally we prefer walk in showers, but it was a decent pressure and hot. Plenty of dining options very close by, plus a bakery next door. Just to note that reception was a bit odd - it was not obvious from outside as we approached. It turns out that the reception office is really just a cubicle inside a door marked with room numbers. Once inside, then there's a round table marked Reception immediately outside of the cubicle, but it would be good to have a Reception sign on the outside wall to help new arrivals know they've come to the right door! But once we were in, both receptionists we met were helpful. Beach towels are available on request from reception and we spent a day on the main Rabac beach which is 5 mins walk around the promenade. It's a pebble beach but we were pleasantly surprised to find that just a few metres out there was a lovely sandy bottom. 2 sun loungers and a sunshade were 25 euros to rent for the day. There's a decent pizzeria behind, belonging to one of the big hotels, where we enjoyed a pizza and Greek salad lunch. If you prefer small hotels then the Adoral is for you - there are some huge hotel complexes locally which seemed popular with families but they aren't our thing, so we were pleased with our choice! Rabac is a busy small resort but is surprisingly scenic, set at the end of a valley below Labin, and there's a nice harbour area just around the corner from the hotel with some bars and more restaurants.
