When I walked through the door, I thought wow! The hallways to each of the floors are balconies to the lobby. The room was comfortable but this is where the issues start to rack up. Firstly the tiles on the floor of the shower are very slippy when wet, not good news for a shower. It's a shame as it was huge, plenty of space to slip over and smack your head on the floor. Next very few staff members speak any English at all. Now as I'm in a Spanish speaking country, I wouldn't expect everyone to speak English, but I'd expect the staff of a top end restaurant to do so and not have to communicate with my super duper basic one word Spanish. Next they only left one bottle of 330ml water in the room, although there was plenty of water bottles in the mini bar I could buy. Most hotels provide 2 x 500ml bottles. Really cheap and penny pinching this. The WiFi was glacial slow and that's after you get past the extra level of 'security'. Good look trying to upload that ace pic on social media. The breakfast was excellent, although we missed it one day as we were out at 0620 and it doesn't open until 0700, most hotels start breakfast between 0600 and 0630. I really didn't rate this place considering the price. Once you get past that initial wow factor when you walk in, it's not that great
