Espíritu Santo Hotel Boutique

A curious place that isn’t really finished. The second floor rooms have no exterior windows that open so no ventilation. I never saw another guest and my room smelled like sewage. They changed my room twice and the third one on the top floor would have been fine except for the broken toilet seat and the fact that the toilet was improperly installed on the floor and rocked a bunch back and forth. The staff was nice and the rooms were clean but that didn’t compensate for the poor design. Lovely murals and tile work, but the restaurant never opened during the eight days I was there.

My family of seven stayed here the week prior to Christmas and I couldn't have asked for better family accommodations. We stayed in the penthouse because it was the only room that would fit us all. Calling it a "room" is really selling it short. It was in actuality a good-sized 3-bedroom apartment with a full-sized kitchen. The living area was massive and had a billiard table. The massive private back deck spanned the entire width of the hotel and provided beautiful panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez and the city. There were a lot of stairs to climb so if you aren't up for that, maybe stay in the lower section of the hotel. The service was fantastic and everyone was very helpful. Any issues we did have were minor and were taken care of right away. The location was super convenient because it was just two blocks from the Malecon (the main boardwalk area along the beach). There were so many restaurants to choose from all within a short walk along the Malecon. Our favorites were Dolce Romero (just 1 block away) and Buzos (about a 5-minute walk along the boardwalk). I would definitely stay here again with my family. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you Espiritu Santo Hotel Boutique staff for having us and making our stay so wonderful! Pésimo servicio, la actitud nefasta por parte de la recepcionista y el "dueño" del hotel. Reservamos una habitación que anunciaba capacidad para 7 personas aunque sólo seriamos 3. Al llegar la habitación sólo tenia una cama matrimonial. En lugar de ofrecer una disculpa y buscar una solución nos dijeron que teníamos que haber usado el sentido y su "solución" era que modificarían la página. No pedimos compensación simplemente la devolución y no querían regresar el dinero porque "no se veía reflejado" claro que al momento de hacer check in si estaba pagada y al momento de la devolución "siempre no". Está de más dar todos los detalles de las excusas y actitudes de esas dos personas, basta con decir que fueron más de 2 hrs de discusión y unas deplorables excusas que tuvimos que marcar a la policía para mediar el problema y levantar el acta. Hasta ese momento decidieron hacer la devolución del pago. Desafortunadamente no investigamos el hotel antes de hacer la reserva, si lo investigan ya había comentarios de huéspedes con malas experiencias y a los cuales nunca les regresaron su dinero. En resumen pésima actitud completamente altanera, sin soluciones, muchísimas mentiras y si no quieren pasar un mal momento que arruine sus vacaciones no reserven.
