Everyone is very helpful and friendly, many opportunities for activity, delicious, varied food.

Hola Dears, my family and I would like to thank you for an amazing stay during Xmas and New Year Eve. Junior Suite was quit big for us and our two almost adult girls and we appreciated a lot 2 bathrooms🤣 food, your staff and hospitality were great and all that activities! amazing!! we also took couple of surf lessons which was life experience for us and we will definitly come back next, I mean, this year 🤣

Nice and fairly priced hotel with lots of activities! The gym is nicely equipped and the place is rather quiet in a nice way. The sunset from the cliffs by the beach is spectacular. The food is OK, but honestly not on your regular level og spanish food. Could be improved with just small adjustments or maybe just a smaller selection, with a little higher quality in food.

As seasoned Neilson holiday makers (we are on our 15th) we were very pleasantly surprised and delighted with this little gem of a winter holiday. Don’t try and compare it to your all out, high octane Neilson summer experience as this isn’t what this resort is about. This resort offers you amazing scenery, great facilities and some much needed winter sun. All of the staff were great including James from Neilson, and the shared resort with Playitas and Apollo also offered access to some great ‘career professional’ instructors (tennis, fitness and yoga) as well as a broader international mix of other guests, all of whom were incredibly friendly. Plenty of Sun loungers were available by the pool, and we dabbled in most of the activities on offer as well as having a hire car for the week which enabled us to explore the island (very much recommend this). Would also recommend going full board for convenience. We did this instead of our usual winter ski holiday, frankly, I don’t think we will be going skiing again with this on offer - winter sun, relax and rejuvenate and far, far better value than any skiing holiday can offer (we think around 25% of the cost of a ski trip, all in). We will be back next year!

I had a great week at La Pared and enjoyed some road cycling. It's a good base for cycling around the southern part of the island and also enjoyed yoga and the well equipped gym. The bike centre was the highlight of my trip with Boardman SLR 8.9 carbon bikes included, Strava routes and daily guided Road / MTB tours. I did 3 rides led by Harry and James, with Petros helping get my bike set up in the workshop each day. Thanks guys! A word of caution... La Pared has quite a complex setup with activities provided by staff from Neilson (UK). Apollo (Scandinavia) and Playitas (Spain). Guests can book their stay via these companies, direct with the hotel or with e.g. ***********. The bike centre is run by Neilson, but with limited numbers of bikes available, saw that they were prioritised for guests booking via Neilson or Apollo. Those that booked elsewhere were sometimes disappointed, so if you're from the UK and want to cycle, my advice is to book with Neilson.

Great service, straff was always helpful and smiling. Breakfast and lunch were very good, dinner was alright. Good gym, great activities. Nice pool area. Only thing negative was that there were no air conditioning, but it was still okay because the temperature dropped at night and we had a fan.

Great winter getaway, we have been on over 15 Neilson holidays and knew it wasn’t going to be your normal Neilson holiday , apart from James who is absolutely amazing and cannot do enough you would have thought you were in a normal hotel , we loved the remote location as we hired a car from the car which I would say is vital , we ventured out late afternoon most days and saw the dramatic landscape. We did pay for full board however we ate out every evening as found the food ok but like warm which we didn’t fancy on an evening. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean , the resort is spotless and staff very friendly. We went as husband takes his bike with him and bike staff were amazing and he said the rides challenging which is what he wanted . Just be aware of the wind it is brutal! And also same as another post , sun lounges are all reserved by 8.30 !!

Excellent , Full of activities. James (Guest Service Manager) was brilliant, can't praise enough. Helen [ Tennis coach] also amazing coach, we learned loads. Both these people made the holiday. Both really welcoming and full of knowledge. Food was reasonable though Dinner Buffet could be slightly improved upon. Everyday long list of free activates to participate in and really well run. Accomodation was very good and it does have Kettle - Tea/ coffee making facilities in room. Much quieter in evening after Dinner in bars , as our European cousins seem to go to bed straight after Dinner. Only huge disappointment Was despite the Hotel advising that a strict 'no Sunbed towel reservation policy' would be enforced , each morning by 7.30 am , our European friends had already reserved al available that were in the sun , as many as 28 beds reserved before Breakfast. We did mention to Reception - but they didn't seem interested ! So consequently we spent very little time relaxing in sun - as all pre-reserved by our European friends - mainly Scandinavian and Germans . But all in all a great place for a holiday ....but bring your own sunbed , as one won't be available "in the sun" if you attend the pool .

Just spent a week at La Pared with Neilson. Lots of activities for my husband and daughter, but not for me. No restaurants bars or shops nearby. It is very isolated. We did hire a car for two days which was great and had a look around the island but I would recommend having a car for the week. It is also essential that you have half board as there is nowhere nearby to eat. However, it’s a nice place. Lovely gardens nice layout with small villa type accommodation very pretty. My only criticism of our one bed apartment was that the balcony was in the shade all day. Otherwise it was great. The food is very good. Fortunately with a good choice of breakfast and dinner buffet and a nice pool bar for lunch. There is a supermarket on site so you can buy your own food and make your own lunch, which is also good. Our apartment had a small kitchen with everything you need. You would never know this was a Neilson holiday as no Neilson vibe at all. However, in the last few years, I think the Neilson vibe has disappeared somewhat as they now keep the staff away from the clients much more in terms of socialising, which I think is a pity. It’s a shared site with lots of Germans Danes and Swedes which is nice. My daughter really enjoyed the tennis and the manager James is very accommodating. I can’t say I would return as it is too isolated for me. The sofa bed in the lounge was uncomfortable for my daughter, but the beds in the bedroom were fantastic. My husband enjoyed the mountain biking and the surfing. The beach is not suitable for swimming as it is too rough also another reason for me not returning.
