Staff lovely - very attentive.
Food good but buffet always cold. Plenty new towels daily in room. Super location for touring/viewing the area. Pool area cleaned daily.

O hotel encontra-se numa localização excelente, está dentro da praia.
Tem uma piscina muito boa para os mais pequenos porque vai afundando muito devagar.
O parque para carros apesar de não ser muito grande e de ficar quase cheio o preço cobrado é elevado. Estacionar nas imediações em Abril foi fácil mas no verão deve ser dificil.
O atendimento do recepcionista não foi muito simpático. A senhora que está na recepção do restaurante é muito mais receptiva.
A limpeza dei nota muito negativa porque encontrámos duas meias debaixo da cama.
A comida estava bem para o preco pago.
Há um parque verde e de crianças as 500m do hotel mas fecha à noite.

Hotel simpático, com um bom pequeno almoço. O parque de estacionamento é pequeno e só na última noite foi possível estacionar no hotel. Acesso direto à praia.

Our room overlooked the pool and it was nearer to the seaside of the hotel. A perfect room with a balcony to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun. It was clean and had all the extras you would expect from a 4* hotel. The beds were comfortable apart from the pillows which could have been softer.
The staff were friendly and incredibly efficient during meal times.
There are a few negative comments here about the food but we really enjoyed the breakfast and the evening meals were fine, not excellent, but we couldn’t really complain as there was plenty of choice. The food wasn’t warm enough but a microwave was available.
The location could not have been more perfect; right on the beach and walking distance to buses to Marbella and Fuengirola and the maritime walkway.

Our room overlooked the sea and the view was lovely. It was basic and all a bit run down. The breakfast on the first day wasn't particularly nice so we didn't go the 2nd day. On the 3rd morning there was a function the night before and there were lots of people there. The breakfast was much nicer that day!!!! We asked to check out an hour later (we would pay) but were told no our room was booked up. The hotel didn't seem that busy as everyone had left from the function and it was the middle of January. I was disappointed at that. However we were able to leave our bags in the luggage room for 4 hours.

We booked dinner bed and breakfast..... breakfast lovely but dinner each evening was disappointing......the head receptionist was most unhelpful when we brought it to his attention......we tried to cancel our evening meal but he told us we couldn't get a refund for the rest of our stay.....we booked and paid for12 nights and after 3 nights we did not want to eat there...he said it was our loss. He was very rude and unhelpful..all the other staff were lovely. The hotel is very good but we wouldn't book dinner there again.

The hotel is in a prime location which is great. However, it is not the required standard of a 4* hotel at all! The rooms are spacious and clean, the cleaning staff are great - very frustrating there was no use of an iron or ironing board which is essential to most guests. The only one buffet dining room is dark and depressing, no natural light. Fortunately, our room was pool facing which I requested after reading reviews of the smelly riverside on the rear of the property. The worst problem of all is the pool sun beds area which consist of part concrete and 3 main areas of grass, which were like swamps in some parts and muddy everywhere else!! This is because at night they hose down all the sun beds in there positions on the grass and as you can imagine the grass gets sopping wet and muddier and muddier - hence you need to wash your muddy feet before entering the pool - completely unacceptable!!!! We have been to many, many hotels with grass areas and never experienced this before. This hotel has a ‘captive audience’ in La Cala and should invest in concreting the whole area around the pool, the grass areas do not enhance the space, in fact the opposite when it is always a muddy mess and then expect their guests to just put up with it. The low rating reviews will continue to substantiate these ‘below par’ experiences from their guests.
