Fira Basic

La mancanza di una reception fisica influisce negativamente sulla mia valutazione di questa struttura, comunque ritenuta appena sufficiente per il rapporto costo/prestazioni ottenute.

Fede the host was very welcoming and supportive. The place is nice and compact and comfortable. Has a small kitchenette which you can use. Over all a good experience.

The price for this hotel was cheap but we were expecting a little more based on the word “boutique” in the hotels name and the pictures. The room is very small, not much space to put belongings. It didn’t smell great. Shower was abysmal, can’t believe it hasn’t been replaced. Most fixtures were worn down. Felt jail-cell like. Doors are thin as can be so if there is anyone in the hallway, you will hear their conversation. We heard one lady on the phone at 2am and could even hear the person on the phone! There’s no check in counter or person to greet you. It’s the most no-frills lodging you will have. If this is what you need/want then fine. But for $20-40 more you could be in a proper hotel.

The apar**ent was located in a noisy but fun neighbourhood, it had easy access to metro line L1 and L9 (so great connection with BCN airport) as they were just a few minutes walk from there. Communication with the host was also easy, he responded to our email really quickly. The room itself was small but comfortable, it was pretty clean. The only problem we had was that there were no windows, only a glass door with a really small area we didn't even have access to, so air circulation was a problem in the flat. Overall it is a cheap stay for those who want to spend most of their time exploring the city, we had a great time in Barcelona.

Elegí el Fira Basic por su precio y ubicación cerca del Fira Barcelona. Buscaba un alojamiento económico. Nos ha gustado mucho y era mejor de lo que esperaba. La habitación (la 3) tenía todo lo que necesitas, A/C, tele, wifi, baño privado, ducha con agua bien caliente y buena presión, cajonera y guardaropa - y tranquilidad gracias a la cancelación de ruido. Fui en diciembre y hacía calorcito en la habitación, se estaba perfecto. Teníamos una puerta que daba a un pequeño espacio interior a modo de ventana. La zona de cocina común es fantástica, hay nevera grandecita, microondas, cafetera, hervidor de agua. Hay té y café libre así como fruta, magdalenas y cruasants libre, y agua que reponen cada día. Cada día te limpian la habitación, cambian las toallas etc. y la chica es encantadora. Federico fue muy amable también, nos dejó entrar un poco antes a la habitación y salir más tarde sin cobrarnos extra, muy agradecida. Yo acompañé a mi hija a un evento y pasé mucho tiempo en el Fira Basic, descansando en las zonas comunes, tomando té. Está a 5 minutos a pie del metro (eso sí cuesta arriba jeje) y hay supermercados, farmacia y varios restaurantes de comida rápida cerca. El bar justo al lado es ideal para desayunos y bocatas y el personal encantador.

Es una opción barata para una o dos noches, para mi estadía, las sábanas huelen mal, así que no volveré.
