Rocks Hotel & Casino

Booked in January 2023, one of the main attractions was the pool complex. When we arrived, the pool complex was closed for renovations. No-one told us this before we arrived. No alternative seating area or compensation offered. Our booking could not be found. We were eventually shown a standard double room, which we had expected, however we were above the main front door at the reception area. The noise of a disco somewhere nearby was exceptionally loud. Spoke to a customer of the hotel whose room was further away than ours and they never heard anything. The food was aimed for the Turkish people, only some foods we could eat and we are not fussy eaters. The chefs were superb and the sweet display was amazing.. The waiting on staff were fabulous but we felt the management did not care about normal guests, only the rich.

We booked 3 nights for a city break whilst staying somewhere else on the island. Always wanted to stay at the rocks over the years we have been here. The rooms are really nice, however everything runs on electric so when they have a power cut and it often does their generator kicks in but this then opens all the curtains and switches on the lights. Three times on the first night and twice on the second. The food is ok no difference from any other hotel really. The biggest disappointment was by the pool. All the sun beds near the sea had been save by the pool man for some guests!!! Towels on them and no one was allowed to sit on them. There were loads free as well. The breeze was best the nearer the sea. When complaining to the reception, and asking them how we reserved the sun beds by the sea, she advised that no beds were reserved. The pool man informed the lady that they were saved for the owner of the hotel. Well when the owner!!! arrived arrived at 16:30, seven hours later the owner of the hotel gave the pool man 20 lira and he promptly put it in his back pocket. Not sure he told the lady the truth about it being saved for the owner as that would be 3 days running but a very lucrative business if he doing that every day for certain guests. Very disappointed in his attitude and I understand they don’t get paid very much but this behaviour is disgusting. I would have had more respect if he had been honest about it.

Resepsiyon görevlilerinden başlayarak, tüm idareci/personeli son derece güleryüzlü ve çalışkandı. Her türlü talebimize anında olumlu yanıt verdiler. Kaliteden asla taviz vermiyorlar. Çok memnun kaldık. Herkese de tavsiye ediyoruz.

Öncelikle ilk kezkonaklamama rağmen resepsiyon cafe restaurant ve ****** çalışanlarının ilgi alakasından dolayı çok teşekkür ederim..ÇOk kazandım ama amacım kazanıp cebe para koymak olmadığından kazandığımı geri oynadım..heleki aile ortamı huzur ve güven herşey muhteşem..birde kaybedince geri verdikleri diacountlar ***et tatmin edici.özellikle ******daki müşteri hizmetleri peroneli türkay hanımın ilgi alakasından dolayı teşekkür ederiz.restaurantta açık büfeler muhteşem ve lezzetli.******daki ikramlar arada bir aksasada çoğunlukla her istediğimiz anında geldi..tüm çalışanlara teşekkür eder herkese taksiye ederim..şuan ilk uçakta yer arıyorum 👌

15 yıldır kesintisiz gittiğim tek otel. Yemekleri lezzetli. Personel saygılı dikkatli. Gürültü kargaşa karmaşa olmayan temiz , kaliteli muhteşem bir tatil için ideal . Deniz , havuz , ****** , çarşı her şey elinizin altında. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral - zentraler geht es in Girne eigentlich gar nicht. Wir hatten eine Suite gebucht und waren damit zufrieden. Der Raumzuschnitt war durchdacht, gemütlich und vermittelte uns eine regelrecht heimelige Stimmung - aufm Zimmer fühlten wir uns stets wie zu Hause. Die Zimmerausstattung war hochwertig und bequem. Ich möchte auch das hohe Niveau der Sauberkeit loben. Sehr überzeugend ist der Speiseraum; insbesondere das Abendessen-Buffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Badezimmer war mit hochwertigen Körper-Pflegeprodukten ausgestattet. Auch das Beleuchtungskonzept des Zimmers kann man nur loben. Das Personal war stets aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Es gab leider auch ein paar kleine, aber peinliche Defizite, die in einem Fünf-Sterne-Hotel eigentlich gar nicht vorkommen sollten. Im Badezimmer fehlten Wasch- und Kosmetiktücher. Auch WLAN funktionierte nicht immer zuverlässig.
