Lovely clean hotel a short walk (or free shuttle) to kyoto station). All was good. Very fast wifi and comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast either downstairs or in the revolving restaurant. The only oddity was the swimming pool and gym which had restricted usage hours and required payment on top! Was not worth it and even if it was the unusual hours of operation made it unfeasible. Would stay again though unless I really needed the gym and pool.

Our stay at Good Nature Hotel Kyoto was truly memorable! The location is ideal, just a short walk from the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The service was outstanding—front desk staff even helped us make a dinner reservation since we don’t speak Japanese. We were also impressed by the thoughtful touches, like the tiny indoor shoes they provided for our baby. The hotel’s shower gel, shampoo, and handwash were lovely—natural and refreshing. We loved them so much that we bought some from their grocery store to bring back home! The warm and eco-conscious atmosphere, combined with excellent service, made our stay perfect. Highly recommended for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and a touch of nature.

It's beautiful hotel which has own shuttle buses to Kyoto station. They pay attention to every detail and every aspect. Service is superb. hotel staffs are very friendly and so polite. They welcome you from the beginning outside hotel. Greeting every time they see you. Shuttle buses drives are extremely helpful and friendly.! Breakfast are always great. Morning chef is amazing and kind. Thank you. And please give my best regards to him. Me and my parents had lovely time during stay. And if not because we booked hotel another week at Osaka, we sure would love to stay another week. My father still talk about the trip at your hotel while we stay at Imperial Hotel Osaka. Easily the best hotel that we've stayed in Japan so far. Location is great as what everyone says. Right smack in a shopping district with full of eateries. Too bad I only booked 2 nights in Kyoto. Should have stayed longer. Staff are accommodating and friendly. Guided me through their self check in system which is user friendly as well. Will definitely come back to this hotel again.

I booked a premier twin with city view guest room in this Banyee Tree Group Hotel at Kyoto Sanjo district. The hotel location is very good and just slightly off Kyoto City shopping centres within a 5-10 mins walking distance, which is good for my family since we can do some walking exercise and looking for good japanese food everyday when we are going out without wasting time to find transportation and yet there is a sub-way train Sanjo station just right next to the hotel for linking up to other scene spots and even to Osaka and other places as you wish. The quality of hospitality service is good and some staff are hands-on and can communicate via english. The room interior is warm and comfort to my family and I like its comfy bed and sufficient hot-water rain-shower and both my family and myself had a good sleep there. The Wi-Fi speed is acceptable and the room cleaning service is also above average.

It’s not very near the Kyoto station especially because there is no underground link to the hotel from the main station. You will need to walk along the main road and it’s not very good for the luggage wheels as the roads are not smooth. There is also no gym in this hotel. Will probably try other hotels the next time if I’m visiting Kyoto.

The hotel is very strategically located and very close to shops and restaurants. It is also a 5 minute walk away from the nearest station which is Sanjo Station. Marked it down in terms of service as they didn’t want to print out park tickets for me since I left my printed copies behind. Otherwise, all good with the hotel and satisfied with the stay.

The location of Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo is unbeatable, right next to Kyoto Station, making travel around the city so convenient. The nearby Aeon Mall is fantastic for quick and affordable meals, with plenty of options to choose from. A thoughtful touch is the free water cooler provided on every floor, which made it super easy to refill our water bottles when heading out or returning for the day. The complimentary Japanese breakfast was a lovely addition, offering a delicious and authentic start to the day. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and the service is good. Overall, it's a great choice for families looking for convenience and comfort in Kyoto!

have suttle buses from the kyoto station to the hotel. and I have to say the shuttle bus driver is so welcoming and cheerful. also convenient to go to sightseeing places by bus( around 5min walk) but no convenient stores nearby. the closest one will be about 10min walk
