Golden Eagle Summit Hotel Kunming

The hotel is in a good location however, the staff are professional but not very helpful except one lady at the front desk and the housekeeping staff they are amazing. Everyone else kinda stuck up and not willing to answer questions or even help with simple delivery address. But if your not the easily upset type it's a good hotel in a great part of town.

Clean hotel, slightly outdated but was fine for us. Good location, you are in city centre but can sleep very quietly and peaceful at night. I would come again and stay here.

We had a great 3 nights stay at the hotel. The location is wonderful, situated in a shopping mall, just a short walk to the old town, lots of eateries nearby, very convenient. The room is very clean, very spacious. All the staffs there are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at Golden Eagle Summit Hotel Kunming if we were to go back to Kunming again.

This is my first time to visit the Spring City, Kunming. The hotel located at the center of the city. It’s convenient to see all the landscapes and discover the history and the culture of this amazing city. The hotel room is clean, neat, and cozy. We love it so much. Definitely recommend this hotel to other fellow friends!

I thought this hotel was good value for money, considering its 5 stars and location in downtown Kunming. The room was spacious and the bathroom was well appointed, with a lovely bath(with very hot water which I often find lacking) and a shower with great water pressure. The only downsides were that I found the room itself(not the bathroom) to be a bit outdated in terms of the fixtures and fittings. Also, the gentleman who checked me in wasn’t particularly friendly. He couldn’t speak English(which is not a problem at all, although I would expect it in a five star hotel) but he didn’t say a word to me throughout the entire check in process until he gave me my key. There’s much more to communication than just language and I felt his customer service skills were a bit lacking considering his position on a reception desk.
