Holiday Inn Express Kuala Lumpur City Centre, an IHG Hotel

Room was clean and tidy. Location is not bad as it’s near to the shopping malls but the smothering weather makes it uncomfortable to even take a 10mins walk. Breakfast menu was the same everyday throughout my stay. There was a young female receptionist that was kind of rude was she asked me for feedback during my breakfast. And when I checked out, I had a luggage for safe keep but she insisted she will tag my bag after I had left the room as there was someone waiting behind me. I have important documents and valuable items in my luggage and would not want to risk losing it or misplacing with others. Better customer service training should be provided for her to improve.

Check in was smoothly and we had our room in level 17th and was happily rest as our journey from airport to the hotel took abt 1hr. Room was clean and a bit small but its ok with 2 of us. Bfast hv variaties food been served and i love the porridge section. Easy access to Pavillion and KLCC and other place. Its a good hotel to stay.

Everything good. The bed was good, cleanliness also excellent, very recommended for everyone. Just the food just so so .

I had incredible stays at this hotel. For the service itself, I was satisfied the most! The staff members were friendly, and they helped me a lot whenever I had something to worry about. In particular, they told me everything about the cleaning service in detail as I asked for it. In addition, the room was spacious and really comfortable to stay in without any jokes. You've got a cozy environment; it made me feel relaxed after getting back from a long hour of sightseeing! The fact that two bottles of water were served every day and some power outlets, which charge your phone and power bank, made me happy! Of course, its location is perfect! It's close to the central part of Kuala Lumpur. On the other hand, there's one thing this hotel needs fixing. It is the system of clearing up the table when eating breakfast. Guests sit at whatever table they like and are supposed to leave the dishes on the table after eating. The employees are walking around and clearing up the table when they see and think that that table is okay to clear up the dishes and clean. There is something wrong with it. I was having breakfast and tried to have something to drink with a couple of dishes left on the table, which I thought of eating after getting the drink. As I got back from the beverage corner, the employee was clearing up my table... I tried to eat the dishes I had left, but my meals were cleared up. And I saw something like that at another table. I think that it is a waste of food. Here's the solution to it in order to avoid that situation. Each table or person has a tag saying "using or don't clear up the table". When people finish eating and are ready to leave, they let it stand on the table, which helps the employees identify whether that table is okay to be cleaned. If guests want their dishes to be cleared but want to have more, they ask employees for clearing up. This system is great, I think. I hope this system will be discussed and introduced sooner or later. Yet, I had enjoyable nights and breakfast at this hotel!! Thank you so much for providing me with amazing services!!

The stay was good and the buffet was yummy! Would like to book the same hotel again if going to KL. Near to TRX mall too.

My wife and I and a couple friends, but this hotel for three nights before heading to Genting. The location itself is not that has a very close to Pavilion. Although a little dated, the hotel is relatively clean.  One advantage of staying at Holiday Inn express is that they have washing machines. Bedsheets are slightly old. Breakfast was full of people. I did, however, encounter an issue with the washer and dryer. At the hotel, you need to purchase tokens for 15RM each at the counter. After reaching the laundry room, I put my clothes into the wash machine, and proceeded to enter the coin into dispenser. By accident, I put the coin into the dryer as opposed to the washer. I called the office downstairs to ask for another coin, but was quickly as to purchase another coin. After a few harsh words, and threatening to make a complaint to corporate office, they quickly had a change of heart and provided me another coin. If you look at the machines, there’s a very subtle arrow that indicates we should insert your coin to pay for the service, but Holiday Inn needs to indicate this a lot more clearly.

Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was just as I like it with soft and not so soft pillows. Bathroom was small but functional. Breakfast was okay and usually quite busy...hectic. Hotel has plenty of eateries and places to grab a drink nearby.

Great hotel with reasonable price and near to Raja Chulan monorail. Walking distance to Jalan Alor, Pavillion

Room is pretty decent but had to face leakage issue
