Krabi Nature Beach Resort

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Located on the edge of Ao Nang the area is quiet and peaceful but still not too far from shops and restaurants. There is an awesome night market nearby. The hotel is a mess. For starters it has three names Aonang Ayodhdya Krabi Beach Resort & Spa -SHA Plus certified Ayodhaya Palace Krabi Beach Resort SHA+ And Krabi Nature Beach Resort. The building is old and poorly maintained. The service is aweful. The elevator hasn't worked "since covid" according to the staff. As soon as we arrived in the room the key slot light activator fell off the wall. Then we asked for a hair dryer and had to go down to get it from the front desk because they refuse to bring it to the room. We had to sign out their hairdryer and were given an electrical and fire hazard shaped like a hairdryer. Only given some stained towels and a small bottle of shampoo and bodywash. No hair conditioner, no toiletries (toothbrush, shaving kit, etc), no slippers, and no robe. No room safe made it uncomfortable to have room made up and forced me to carry all my valuables at all times. The duvet was only covered by sheets and did not have a proper duvet cover. Front desk rarely answered the phone. The toilet got clogged and they took 45 minutes to send someone and I had to call repeatedly. Pool pH was low. The acidic water tasted almost like lemon. On the last day we lost power in our outlets for the whole room. We couldn't charge our phones and some of the lights didn't work because they were plugged into outlets. The ceiling lights worked but we couldn't use the outlets. Front desk made excuses about not being able to fix it because the engineer had gone home. The building was empty but they said they were fully booked up and wouldn't give us another room. Offered no compensation. Do not stay here.

出門在外，就怕丟了護照和重要的物品！我從來都謹慎，可偏偏還是發生了！落地甲米，背包遺落在接車的後座上！現在還清楚的記得，車上標註了，顧客遺失物品概不付（負）責！前台的可愛男生看到我心急如焚，馬上各種操作幫我聯繫警察和車主！他打電話時手都在抖，比我還着急！幫搬運行李的印度小哥和有中國血統的經理也一同出謀劃策！經歷了三個多小時的惴惴不安！失而復得，內心無比的激動和對三個人的感謝！酒店極大，安寧、房間是套間，很寬敞、雖然不是新酒店！但設施完善！甲米的街道上很多酒吧會經營到十一點甚至一點！如果想睡個好覺，可以選擇這裏！如果遇到困難，請找經理叔叔，提我，管用！

We did not like this property. Check in was very very slow. The lobby had no A/C so it was very hot waiting. The room smelled musty, the towels were threadbare, the bed was hard as a rock, and the wifi did not work. We checked out the next morning.

Check in at reseption was very slow and unorganized. A lot of people waited their rooms for a long time. The room was very nice and clean and everything went well after the check in.

Beautiful resort in recovery from COVID mode, Lovely staff and even the General Manager spent time to talk to us and explain the history of this resort. This is the only hotel in Asia with real hot water ,allows me to soak in the bath and is the only hotel with an inscrect screen on the sliding balcony door, lovely fresh air and no need for the aircon. Dont expect a huge buffet breakfast as you order from an 8 choice set menu which I think is great for the enviroment (no wasted food) and also stops us from over eating. The breakfast is optional and there are many food vendors and shops close by. We will be back.

This place is difficult to describe! One of the most mysterious hotels I've been in. First it has two different names. Ayodhaya Resort (the real name) and of course Krabi Nature Beach Resort (I think the new way to tempt hip travelers). The place is huge ..maybe 200 rooms? Our room was huge! We were one of maybe ten guests. It is majestic but looks like it was built in the 60's? But the staff said it was built in 2004. Hard to imagine. I couldn't count how many pools it has...But many that wind around the property. Bedding and towels are "rough". _Pool area looks like an end of the world movie. Staff was amazing. My wife as having back problems and I told the cleaning staff when they knocked on the door. They insisted on seeing her. The two ladies entered and proceeded to work on her lower back and feet. After a 15 minute trea**ent she was back on her feet!! I guess to sum it up this is not the resort for the squeamish you are up for an adventure at a great price .....I guess I'm going to recommend The Ayodhaya!
