Absolutely appalling experience at Kottayam Arcadia Hotel/Restaurant! I am still trying to wrap my head around the sheer discrimination and disrespect we encountered. My friend was humiliated and asked to leave the restaurant simply because he was wearing a Kerala lungi, a traditional and respectable garment in our culture. The staff's behavior was rude and arrogant, showing no regard for our feelings or the cultural significance of the lungi. This is not only unacceptable but also deeply hurtful. I de***d an explanation and an apology from the ***agement. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, especially one that claims to be welcoming to all. I will make sure to share this horrific experience with everyone I know and will not hesitate to take further action if necessary. Shame on you, Kottayam Arcadia Hotel/Restaurant, for perpetuating such harmful and discriminatory behavior!"

Excellent dining experience. Wifi signal was extremely weak to non-existent. Courtesy of staff is dependent on your attire.

There is poor service and then there is Déjà Vu. We got here at 8.15 pm to find half the restaurant ‘reserved’ so we waited for a table to clear. An hour later, we hadn’t even been served beverages. The restaurant was poorly staffed and service was at a glacial pace.

I’m an NRI person(Malta), on the way to vagamon me and my wife had stayed in a hotel for one night, we reached around 9 o clocks there(not sharp), we reached after a long journey (300km). The front desk guy(the person who collected details for check-in) was an old person, he doesn’t even know how to behave towards the customer, and he treated us like we booked for free. I respect his age, I spoke with another younger guy who was more pleasant and professional(working in same department), he apologised when I made this complaint about that person. Hotel ***agement has to make an audit about how your staff behave towards customers, I will never suggest this hotel to any of my friends. Because of that person, he spoiled our entire stay

I stayed with my friend in Arcadia and the stay was nice. The rooms are clean and good. The staff was good and food was nice .The rooftop restaurant was beautiful. Can view the entire Kottayam city. The rooftop pool is superb. Food is good.Had a excellent stay

We were there for lunch today and opted for the buffet as i have previously had and really enjoyed. This time it was served in a very tightly packed hall with just two waiters . The seating priorities was not given any importance. Cutlery was not placed properly or not placed at all... Most of the dishes was empty throughout...inspite of repeated requests and during our spending of more than an hour ***y dishes were not replenished. The quality of whatever was served was good. But overall experience was harrowing and this is the first time I experiencing it. My earlier visits were very good but this time very bad.
