Luby host is a the best host in the world! She was so kind and always responded my question. The swimming pool is really nice. However we are not used to smell of room. And we heard noisy motorcycle sound during the all night. Location is perfect and restaurant near by are all expensive. However, Artsy coffee was so nice! Thanks for all hosting Luby!

The room is very clean and tidy. They provide basic amenities. They collect RM50 for deposit and return after checkout (only receive cash). Nearby many restaurants so easy to find food. Smooth checkin and the staff very accommodating.
Minor: the drain in the bathroom draining VERY slow, so we shower with ‘flooded’ floor. The hotel should check if there is clogging.

The location is very convenient to most of the good eating outlets. Also in a prime location to major shopping malls, seaside and Harbour port to go out for islands hopping. We chose a sea view facing room and the view was magnificent. Also remember to go the beach for a beautiful sunset view. Will definitely choose to stay here again

I last stayed here back in 2011. I’m suprised to see how lovely the hotel is now. It had been fully renovated. Love the lobby and the restaurant. Didn’t manage to use the facilities there though. I shall make a return and try them out.
Room was still as big as before. It’s beautiful now. Only downside was that i can never figure out how to connect my phone via Bluetooth to the TV. The bathroom was nice. Love the colours of the room and the bathroom.
Room service menu is acceptable. But i have to commend. Room service is very, very fast. Asked to make up room, asked for laundry service, asked for ice and they’ll be at the door within 5-10mins. Never beyond 10mins, unlike some other hotels i’ve stayed in Singapore, KL, Penang, Istanbul, Canada, Malacca, Dubai, Nepal, New Delhi, Bali and Bandung. I am truly, very, very impressed. Check in and check out was a breeze. I will definitely stay here again in my next trip to KK. Thank you Le Meridien!

Very clean and new. Looks like being renovated. Came here for seminar as the talk is organized inside the hotel. The location is good as it is in the center of the city. Service is good except that check in counter only have 2 and average waiting time is about 30 minutes for check in. However, maybe due to the hotel is full, our rooms are not ready when we check in at 3pm. But the hotel upgrade our room to another available unit which we will give a credit to the hotel. Breakfast is good and many variety, only the structure of the dining area is very inconvenient as the dining area too small and many corners which is not convenient to obtain the food especially for the beverage counter. The dining que line is too long due to the location where both the coffee machine are too close to each other and doesn’t not have any turning point and the coffee machine is very very slow. Suggest to change to a bigger dining area as the dining area cannot fit the number of customers especially for a seminar of 200+ people and refill is slow and we only have 1 hour lunch time where queing for food already took almost half an hour. Other than the above, I am satisfied with the hotel.

The provider did not gave clear instructions when we wanted to checked in resulting in us needed to go 2 times to the locker to pick up the card key.
When we called to the owner also there was no professionalism because we can hear her talking to other person at the back and not finishing up the conversation that we had. It was quite frustrating as we needed to call her quite a few times just to finish checking in.
The aircond also produced very loud noise and there was no wifi when we try to connect it. Even though, it stated there was Wi-Fi service provided.

The hotel room which I stayed was very confortable, with wide space, big bed, clean bedsheets and near to eating places and also near to the airport. Initially I was afraid the noise from the airplanes may disturb my sleep as my room was facing on the left side of the building, but to my surprise I did not hear planes flying so I was happy that I didn't experience any noise to disturb my tranquility. The only con is there is no restaurant in the hotel so my breakfast came as a bento like box takeaway. No coffee also, the coffee is available in the room but is chargeable. Only the tea bags are free. The parking is multi-storeyed and managed electronically. You put your car into the car lift and it is then parked automatically one car at a time. To retrieve your car, you need to scan your hotel card for it to be brought down via the car lift again. It may be time consuming if you are in a hurry and there are a few people in the queue before you.

Secondly, the quality of the in-room dining is excellent. Whether it's breakfast or dinner, the food delivered to the room is not only fresh and delicious but also beautifully presented, making you feel genuinely welcome. It's particularly worth mentioning that I once accidentally left some items in the room. The hotel staff promptly contacted me and arranged to return the items quickly, which was very reassuring.
However, there are a few areas where the Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort could improve. Firstly, the hotel's location is relatively remote, making it inconvenient to hail a taxi, especially at night or during peak hours, which can be troublesome for guests who need to go out frequently. Additionally, there are some issues with the hotel's pool facilities. The edges of the pool may be rough, and I accidentally got a cut while using the pool. I hope the hotel can address this to enhance the safety and comfort of their guests.

I was there for a week-long work trip and chose this hotel based on its competitive rates and promising reviews. I must say, my experience was nothing short of delightful, and I’m eager to share my thoughts.
First and foremost, the room itself was incredibly spacious, which made my stay very comfortable. It’s rare to find such ample space in a hotel room at this price point, and it truly set the tone for a relaxing and productive week. The room was well-appointed, with all the necessary amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, allowing me to rest well after long days of meetings.
One of the highlights of my room was the stunning view it offered. From my window, I had a clear view of the sea, which was both calming and inspiring. Additionally, I could see Suria Mall, a convenient location for shopping and dining. Waking up to such a beautiful sight each day was invigorating and added a touch of luxury to my stay. My room number was 705, and I would highly recommend it to future guests seeking a room with a view.
The hotel staff deserve a special mention for their friendliness and professionalism. From the moment I checked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and efficient service. The staff were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, making me feel welcome and valued as a guest. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality enhanced my overall experience, and I am grateful for their efforts.
While the hotel did not provide breakfast, this was not an issue for me. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and it gave me the opportunity to explore local cafes and restaurants. The convenience of Suria Mall being so close meant that I had a variety of choices at my disposal.
Reflecting on my stay, I cannot find anything to complain about. The hotel delivered on all fronts, offering comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I have no regrets about choosing this hotel for my work trip, and it has certainly set a high standard for my future travels.

PPweshiWe loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the check-in and check-out process was super quick. The location is excellent. It's within walking distance of Imago, with stores and restaurants outside the hotel.
The room was great. I have to say the bathroom area is spacious, but the doors are a little weird. The room was clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable.
We also had the Saturday night buffet. It so happened that the buffet was busy that night, and I think they could have prepared better, but overall, the food was fantastic! Highly recommended.

BBehBearMy recent stay at The Pacific Sutera Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. Despite only spending 2 days and 1 night at the hotel, the level of service I experienced was truly top-notch. From the moment we stepped into the lobby until our departure, every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations.

I must make a special mention of one staff member whose name unfortunately escapes me. She mentioned that she has been a part of the hotel's team for the past 20 years, and her dedication to her work was palpable in every interaction we had with her. Her genuine friendliness, warmth, and professionalism enhanced our stay and left a lasting impression.
I believe it would be wonderful if the hotel could consider acknowledging her dedication and exceptional service with a bonus or some form of recognition. Her commitment to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of guests like myself deserves commendation, and such gestures would not only serve as a token of appreciation but also motivate her and other staff members to continue delivering outstanding service.

HHatyaimanLocation is recognized in prime area esp for Gaya Street Market on Friday and Saturday night + Sunday morning market. Try local foods around this hotel e.g, 1) Yee Fung…..don’t miss Wonton Soup 2) Keng Wan Hing……Big Pau (Chinese bun) with hot coffee Actually, Atkinson Tower and Signal Hill Observatory are in walking area but both have been closed for renovation. I stayed in Single room without window…..clean, private bathroom, air condition, tv……..anyway, there was no daily housekeeping? Cos I stayed 2 nights but no one came to my room. I stayed on 3rd floor (only 3 floor…..still have a lift) and there was heavy rain on 2nd night…….big rain big sound……made my Cinemax….watching Indiana Jones….gone with the rain…..no signal at all (TV Hotel) In the summary, highly recommended for reasonable price for budget traveller upon prime location. Note for Airport Transfer From KKiA or BKI, there was no operation of Airport Bus due to Covid situation. Then, you can rake a taxi at fixed fee at 30 ringgit or grab only 10 ringgit……for sure….Grab….airport bus only 5 ringgit

GGuest UserNothing much that i can say. my family and I have amazing stay at Borneo Beach Villa karambunai for 3 days 2 night. The villas is clean, the pool is clean and the beach is so beautiful. My family really enjoy with the stay. However the reason i give. 4 star because our villa has some of broken chair at table outside and the door is very hard to open because of rusty. I think maybe the villa itself is too old. Mybe it just our villa not sure with another. It will be nice if they can check regularly maintenance for each villa Some of things need to remind while you in here: 1. Villas doesnt have WIFI. Only have at receptionist, thus if you want to do work while chilling make sure you bring your own wifi. 2. Make sure to buy any groceries that you want before reach to villa because the distant with mart is far away they didnt have their own mart, only restaurant 3. This villa didnt provide any lobby service. But aboVe all that we are really enjoy staying here.

NNanie Idayu MMy husband and I spent two nights here. The queen room size is suitable for family with 2 children under 10. During our stay the tv channels had problems due to the change from analogue to digital tv. We asked for help from the maintanence and he showed up...3 times but the problem unsolved (my husband was quite upset because he wanted to watch the Malaysia Cup final between JDT and Kedah... lol). We have not tried the food because breakfast was not included in my room rate. Mini bar is not provided in room. The room and bathroom are clean. The hotel provide a newspaper every morning. The location is good even for those who come without transportation...just a few minutes walk to Imago, Craft Market and KK market

GGuest UserThis is a very clean hotel. They are doing renovations to maintain its quality. Front desk is very helpful. Rooms a nice clean and spacious. Breakfast is not huge but you won't go away hungry. Very close to several tasty restaurants and there is a coffee shop. Very nice mountain view at cafe level 6.
