The hotel's in a sweet spot surrounded by lots of greenery, and there's a cosy little beach with plenty of sunbeds. On the upside: - Rooms are tidy, bungalow-style, and offer killer views of the sea. - Booze options are solid, with a good mix of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. - You won't struggle to find a sun lounger; they've got plenty on the beach and by the pool. - Food selection during meals is solid, with lots to choose from. - Handy little grocery store right on the premises. - The reception desk crew are friendly and quick to help out. But there are a few downsides: - The food's okay, but nothing to write home about; it's lacking in the flavour department. - Meals can get a bit repetitive; they mix it up, but you'll see some of the same stuff with different twists every day. - The bar and restaurant staff can be slow and not too chatty; they seem pretty worn out. - It's billed as a five-star joint, but it's more like a four-star in reality. You'll notice it in little things, like having to wait for staff to bring water and coffee during meals when you'd rather just pour your own.
