Akti Beach Club

We have just returned from a 9 night stay here as a family of 4 with a 6 and a 8 year old. We stayed in a suite with a shared pool, the room was a good size with a mini bar stocked daily. This was also close to everything backed out onto the restaurant and 2 minutes to the animation pool, and less than a minute to the main pool. The pool was larger than expected. The kids enjoyed this pool more than the animation pool. We got 2 sun loungers but the upstairs rooms didn’t seem to use the pool so we were able to use more. It was nice to have this pool to get away from the noise of the animation pool. We did enjoy it there and the kids loved the snacks at the snack bar, the chips are amazing! But there seemed to be large family groups there that sort of took over and did not put anything in the bin so there was a lot of rubbish around (not a fault of the hotel, as there are plenty of bins around the pool!) The pool bar made lovely iced coffee and the kids loved to play in the park next to it. The beach is really stoney and you definitely need sea shoes. We visited one morning but didn’t again. This didn’t bother us as the kids always choose a pool over the beach. The food is so nice. A lot of Greek choices and always plenty and fresh! The salad selection was great. And the pizza is amazing, I didn’t try this until the day before we left and regretted it. There is a Chinese station and this was a nice change. Every night they had chips, burgers, pizza and 5 different pastas that included plain so plenty for fussy eaters. The entertainment was ok. Whilst we were there it was in the pool bar as they were doing some work to the theatre but this moved back on the last night and to be honest we preferred it in the pool bar they just needed some more tables! The entertainment team are amazing. So enthusiastic and seem to love their jobs. And there is always something to do in the day if you want to join in! My little girl attended the kids club a couple of times and really enjoyed it. There is a free bus to Kardamaina and back from the hotel and this runs regular and late on the night so this was nice to get out on an evening without it costing to get into the village daily. We have really enjoyed our stay and were sad to come home. We will definitely return

Just returned from 11 nights at Akti beach with my family, we had a lovely time, however I do think there could be some improvements. * The Entertainers are great and make each day fun, we joined in with a few activities but also just loved watching them dancing around the pool.. (sunshine for me.. sunshine for you) Hedi and Kevin always made the effort to speak and get people involved without being pushy, they were also great with the children. * My daughter enjoyed the mini club with Emma and Francine and made some lovely crafts while she was there. * The pizzas are the best!! * Rooms were nice and clean. * Free shuttle bus into Kardamena was great, we used it many times. * Pool areas nice - at the beginning of the holiday you could get a sunbed at anytime no problem, however towards the end as it was getting busier people were reserving them earlier and earlier. Cons: * Bar service very slow only 1 person serving!! * Not many toilets around for the size of the place.. 1 by the pool, 2 near reception and 1 by the main pool bar, which were not very clean!! * Lifeguard at the pool where the entertainment was did absolutely nothing except sit on his phone all day, god help it if anyone was in actual danger as he would be oblivious!! Also spent alot of time with the other lifeguard who I am presuming is his girlfriend? Not very professional!! * Evening entertainment could be better. Overall we had a nice time and would return.

We spent 12 days here in May 2024 and what a time we had! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was perfect. Our room & the hotel grounds were spotless throughout our stay. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety everyday. All of the staff were wonderful ESPECIALLY the animation team - what an absolute dream team these guys are! Hedi, Karina, Kevin & the gang were amazing and put so much effort into their guests experience! They really made our stay! Ayman who is one of the chefs was the most down to earth, friendly guy you could ever wish to meet - and his pizzas were out of this world. The bar staff especially Giannis, Rinor & Niko were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us! This team of people here made us feel so at home we are already booking to come back again next year and we cannot wait

Wow wow wow!! I mean, we were expecting a fab holiday but we were blown away by Akti beach, on arrival we were told we had been given a free upgrade, from a double room to a maisonette... two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two wordrobes, lovely and fresh, modern, hair dryer, mini fridge, fresh towels daily, everything you could think of, air con and safe in with the room. The room was in the adult only area which had its own restaurant, bar, evening entertainment every night. But you could go into any area, And even though the season was coming to an end, and it was getting quite quiet, the hotel itself kept running second to none right up until we left (the hotel was closing the following day for end of season) the staff were lovely and friendly and so many pools to choose from. We loved the beach which literally is on your doorstep, although it is very pebbly and a little slippy, sand bags have been placed to help you get into the sea and there are lots of fish swimming around you. The hotel bus which took you into Kardamina, free of charge ran throughout the day and the village itself was typically greek and so beautiful lined with lots of bars and restaurants. We went all inclusive plus and we barely spent a thing.. proper branded drinks and food available, 24/7. Shop onsite, Thankyou Akti Beach for being amazing. We would definately recommend to anyone, there is plenty for any age or group... Enjoy your well earnt rest. Roll on next season.... xx

the holiday was first class! the rooms were a good size and always clean. food was amazing great variety to choose from, staff very friendly and professional. pools brill animation team were fab especially Hedi who went above and beyond to speak to us and involve us in activities. would definitely recommend this hotel

Arrived late in the evening to find a smaller than I expected room for a 5* resort. We had paid for a shared pool with all inclusive plus but found the pool very dirty and not usable. We took this problem to reception in the morning and were met by the customer service manager who sorted all our problems out and pointed us in the direction of another room, this being of the same size but in a better position. I must say that the customer service manager ‘Despina’ was fantastic along with all the staff in the adult only area they went out of their way to make our stay as nice as possible. Although the food area was very good the amount of choice of food was limited but there was always something to eat, you could go down to the main restaurant but would miss out on the adult only. The bar was only manned by one person and queues would be there most of the evening. There was supposed to be branded drinks but found only a couple like Bacardi available but the drinks were still good. Again the staff did the very best they could do. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Akti Beach Club and would go back there again, not 5* but still good value for the money.

Stayed at this hotel on the 5th may this year for 11 nights absolutely fantastic I would and have highly recommended this place staff food rooms you name it brilliant

Just returned from Akti beach club this morning stayed in room 1202 with shared pool, great room only issue we had was one or two of our neighbours telling the people in rooms above that they could not use the pool sometimes very awkward just listening to people's embarrased apologies I don't know what the rules were as there is no signage or room information in the rooms niether we're we told at check in I found it embarrassing and confusing. Apart from that one issue the room was clean, food was what you expect on all inclusive. We ate in the Adult only restaurant much quieter than main Restaurant menu the same. We ate out in Kardemena a couple of nights and used shuttle bus there and back it was a bit busy but very convenient. Overall we had a great week. Staff were all pleasant and helpful.
