Atlantis Hotel

Awesome last minute trip. Great and friendly staff. With it being the very end of season, a few minor things were less than perfect but quite understandable for a late October holiday. The buffet was overall good, varied, and unlike some other places I saw recently - routinely changed out the hot food to keep things fresh. Excellent price point, and would be happy to go back.

Hotel was absolutely fantastic. I proposed to my girlfriend in the hotel’s beachfront room. The staff could not have put on a better show, the food was lovely and the restaurant manager was very friendly. Big thanks to Roditi Kallia for sorting it all!

Rooms are clean but dated. The shower in the bathroom is a hazard as it floods the bathroom. There are no tea making facilities in the room, but there is a fridge. Locaton is right on the beach, not many bars around, and it is a good half-hour walk to the town. Swimming pools and outside areas are nice. Drinks on the all-inclusive are awful. Only one choice of beer and the wine is awful, not even served in a wine glass. Food is very avarage, always something to eat but nothing to look forward to, very repetitive, no theme nights. Gyros at the pool bar were the best meal. There is no entertainment for kids. Only entertainment for adults was pool aerobics. Staff were friendly, but this hotel is about 10 years behind where it should be.

Just returned from a week at this hotel and had the best holiday. As a group of 4 ladies, we were very anxious about this hotel after reading some other reviews. We needn’t have worried. From the moment we walked through the doors and into the impressive lobby and reception area, our fears disappeared. We had a fabulous holiday from start to finish, and will definitely return. Obviously it’s not perfect - nothing is. So the best I can do is to be as honest as possible, listing the good, and not so good points. The hotel is spotless and we couldn’t fault it for that. The cleaning team were very hardworking, and every single one of them said spoke and smiled when you walked by. They are a credit to the hotel. The rest of the staff are also amazing! A few of them really made our holiday. Especially a few of the bar staff and the lovely Marianna in the main restaurant. They treat you as friends and go out of their way to make you feel special. And I’m sure they did this to everyone (although we did witness some guests not showing them the same respect unfortunately). The evening entertainment by the pool was brilliant. Live singers on a few nights were fabulous and the rock band were a treat. We danced the night away every night. Aqua aerobics was brilliant fun. Full of energy and laughter. The food was good. Not a la carte obviously for the price, and the fact that they are feeding the masses. But there was definitely something for everyone. My only gripe is that it could have been hotter. Luke warm many times. Now a couple of negatives. You can’t drink spirits before 5pm. So we couldn’t order a gin and tonic. But we could order a gin cocktail during the day. So any if the cocktails were available (some with 2-3 different spirits in), but not a spirit on its own. Bit strange. And we bought our own tonic from the shop next door, as we didn’t like the hotel one. My bed was rock hard! I mean, seriously hard! But the other room we had, the bed was fine. So hit and miss I guess. The hairdryer was a travel hairdryer which you had to keep your finger on the button to dry your hair. And yes, As mentioned by many before, the rooms are dated. But they are spotlessly clean, so that didn’t bother us. We will definitely return. Kos is just beautiful. The people are beautiful. And the hotel is amazing value for money

Mixed feelings about this hotel based on a recent visit so will separate the good and the bad starting with the bad - Excruciating check in times, lift shaft smelt like it had a dead animal at the bottom that took the best part of 10 days to clear. Cheap uncomfortable mattresses. Awful food with awful selections, I mean...who eats Cauliflower for breakfast? If you have kids, no entertainment and no food choices for little ones. All drinks watered down including alcoholic and fresh fruit juices. The good. Location great with a private beach, a great pool area and nice bars and restaurants nearby. The staff are all amazing, who all work very hard to help customers. Hotel facilities are adequate but certainly nowhere near the 4 star rating it claims to be that warrants the 4 star tourist tax rate we were charged at 7 Euro per night.

Having paid €7 per room per night immediately on arrival was expecting far superior accommodation!! As other people have stated, if you’re told by the reception staff to wait & a colleague will show you to your rooms, I can almost certainly say that you will be very disappointed, the annexe is dark, dated & drab, they put my elderly parents up a flight of slippery marble exterior steps & myself & my 17 year old son on the ground floor?! Needless to say we swapped, hardly any sockets in the rooms & though you have a fridge no tea or coffee making facilities & the only place you can get either after breakfast is over at the pool bar!! Good points are the staff are lovely & friendly, the food is excellent & the grounds are very pretty & well kept. Though they are a family resort the entertainment is hit & miss, the sunbeds on the beach & the beach bar though part of the hotel are not covered on the all inclusive package & have to be paid for? All that aside we did have a lovely holiday, with Kos Town being €8 away by taxi & the boats lit up in the harbour on a night is fabulous well worth a trip in..

We’ve had 2 weeks here and this is the noisiest place we’ve ever stayed at. The place is like an echo chamber. You have drunk guests running around late at night shouting and screaming, then laughing at the echo. The cleaners(even though they are great) start around 7:30am and are noisy and shouting at each other from one end of a corridor to the other. I appreciate they have a job to do, but some people do like to sleep. You can clearly hear your neighbours arguing and the suitcases being towed along every corridor. So, the hotel. It’s a nice layout. The outside areas are well looked after and clean. The inside is clean and well ventilated. The staff are polite and helpful. The food however is repetitive, with not a good choice. We went all inclusive and didn’t use it everyday.). One night they were cooking chicken thighs. I had 2, 1 was not cooked properly and the other the same and smelly. The food hall is very busy, especially in the evening. People just seem to push in and reach over you to get food. There’s no organisation or system to send people in the same direction. Also, the staff will bring fresh trays of food out on trolleys, they also just push in. There is little space in the food areas and everyone is pushing and barging into you. This has put us off going all inclusive again.. We found the drinks choice a little small. You can have local beer, some house shorts/cocktails and coffee/tea. The machine behind the bar is chargeable though, disappointing. We did use the other food places there, but pretty much the same as the main hall. We visited the Smugglers Diamonds across the road to eat quite often as there’s more choice there(see my review) The room is basic, comfortable beds and a balcony. The bathroom is ok, but could use a shaving mirror or better lighting. There’s a frosted glass panel in the bathroom door which hinders privacy. The shower curtain sticks to you and is quite annoying. There are only 2 plug sockets, more would have been nice. There is a fridge and hair dryer, but no tea/coffee making equipment.
