Horizon Beach Resort

We visited the hotel to collect a stray dog! The people were amazing, they were so caring and lovely to the dog and they fundraised for our charity! (Gasah) The hotel is beautiful and the area is so nice! Saane also make’s beautiful bracelets which she gave to us Thank you so much

Been many times, lovely food 8 euro for two beds and two free little bottles of water thrown in. There is a smell of sea**** sometimes but disappears. Lovely shopping area. Great place food brilliant and priced very competitive. Owners of the bar v v friendly.

The Horizon Beach Resort is without a doubt the best hotel we have ever stayed in! All the staff are friendly, professional and cannot do enough for you. They all worked really hard but never stop smiling - Special mention to Yiannis in the Asclepios restaurant we love you Yiannis! The food is absolutely delicious with plenty to choose from, you can even order pizza by the pool! The beach is stunning and peaceful with the added bonus of breathtaking sunsets. All the resort is outstandingly pretty, immaculately clean throughout with everywhere you look being a perfect photo opportunity. The pools are warm, peaceful and beds are always available. I cannot recommend this place enough and hope to return as soon as we can. Thank you Horizon for giving us the best holiday ever!

Wonderful place! Staff were always friendly and amazingly hard working, the food was great, the setting is dreamy. There are 4 pools to swim in and all are warm. The SPA is a great treat. You can rent towels which is handy. The rooms get a quick clean daily (ie beds are made and bins are emptied and floors are cleaned) which is lovely to get back to. The hotel goes straight onto the lovely beach. There are pool bars, a restaurant or a beach bar for lunch. We went kayaking whilst here too. We will be back.

On the day of our check out I left a pair of Apple Wireless Airpods on the bed. Immediately after realising this I asked reception for help and "co-incidentally" the cleaner that serviced our room that morning was uncontactable. Following this, further attempts to contact reception and resolve the issue were ignored by the hotel staff leading me to conclude that the item was stolen and hotel couldn't care about offering good service. If you are staying here, be vey careful of your belongings as clearly the cleaner here cannot be trusted. The hotel also charges an extra 3Euro per day for use of the safe.

Great hotel with good food specially the Symposium restaurant. We loved the food. Enough to choose. Hotel is very clean. Nice swimmingpool. It was a pleasure to be there. We recommend it to everybody.

Everything was great i cannot think of any negative comment to say about our experience. Stuff very friendly especially the guys and girls from the main pool bar. The tavern near the beach and the burger house are definitely worth some of your time!

I stayed here for a short beach holiday. I booked separately, so I was not one of the package travelers that I think were mostly here. I have to say that the staff was extremely accommodating to my needs. They gave me a fantastic room with all amenities that I good wish for. I had to do some work while I was here and the room was perfect for it. The room was very new, fresh and extremely clean. The bed was great as was the bathroom, or as I should say, bathrooms as I had two. The beach is perfect and the food very good. The staff was very hospitable and working very hard. The whole enterprise was running smoothly and it is big with various pools and a big seafront. Great swim, as it is all sandy and easy to go into the sea. If there is one thing to improve, it would for me be an option to have some take-out at night so that you can eat in your room instead of going to the buffet restaurant, but the options during the day are great with an a la carte restaurant and a beach burger bar. Loved the little bottles of white house wine. I would take some home if I could, but unfortunately my soft luggage is not appropriate to carry any. I can utterly recommend this resort if you just want some easy days with sun, sea and the beach. You really do not need to think about anything. Close to the airport, so very convenient. (but not with any noise of the planes). Hope to come back next season!

I’m extremely sad to say that although the hotel is amazing and I cannot fault the pool bar staff, the cleaners and the animation team who have gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome as guests here on our holiday… the experience myself and my two friends have had whilst dining in the main restaurant at breakfast and dinner has been nothing but appalling due to the staff. I cannot think of any reason why we have been singled out from all the other guests apart from how my friend is medically exempt from wearing a face mask and that we are the only people of colour, I’m extremely embarrassed at how unprofessional this has been handled infront of all the other guests and every single day we are made to feel so uncomfortable. It’s clear we have been discriminated against and unfortunately I wouldn’t advise anyone of colour to visit this hotel.
