Lango Design Hotel & Spa, Adults Only

After some trouble with an other hotel, we decided to search for another one. We were welcomed in the most incredible way and the kind manager and staff did everything possible to give us the perfect last three days of our holiday in Kos. Rooms are very nice, the staff is very friendly and nothing is asked to much. The food in the restaurant was really good, if the Michelin guide was active in Kos they would definitely be in it…maybe even more…that homemade sourdough and focaccia!!! Poolside is very nice and breakfast is just perfect! An example in Hospitality!

Everything about this hotel is fantastic, from the welcome to service all over the hotel. The service cannot be complimented enough, especially the hotel manager Christina is amazing and a gift to this hotel. She made our stay wonderful and unforgetable. We got a honeymoon surprise as well as an upgrade to our room. The whole team at the hotel is always smiling and caring, and all details are taken well care of. Rooms are gorgeous and spacious, cleanliness is good, breakfast is delicious and location fight by the beach. This is literally the best hotel i have ever stayed in due to service, and i only stay in luxury hotels worlwide.

If I could pick up the Lango and place it in other holiday destinations I would, it was that good. When we arrived we were greeted by the Hotel Manager Christina which was a sign of the service to come. All the staff were excellent praise in particular to Pamos the Maître d', Catherine and Maria on reception and Epistimi who worked in the restaurant in the morning. She was always smiling and greeted you with a cheerful Kaliméra. I'm sure Christina leads by example. Much has been written about the breakfast on offer, the choice was first class as was the quality. We had a room over looking the sea which was a great size, cleaned immaculately and towels replaced daily. The Lango deserves its 5 stars.

Had a lovely 9 nights at this fantastic hotel. Room was spotless and bed really comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and gluten free cereal, bread and biscuits were provided for my husband as well as gluten free cereal bars left in our room. Flat whites were really good and Epistemi greeted us each morning with a smile and was very attentive. In fact all the staff were lovely including Catherine and everyone else on reception as well as all the young waiters and waitresses who were always cheerful and worked hard all day. Special mention to the restaurant manager who kept everything in order. We went to the wine tasting and food pairing with him and Epsitemi and had a great couple of hours enjoying local Kos wines. Plenty of comfortable sunbeds by the pool and on the beach. Well done Lango for a great stay and would highly recommend. Kalo Pascha - we wish we were still there to celebrate with you.

A beautiful hotel about 30 mins walk from Kos town. The hotel is immaculate and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is probably the best we’ve been offered anywhere, an amazing selection and beautifully cooked and presented. The lunch could be eaten at the restaurant or by the pool. The standard was great. We ended up sharing club sandwiches by the pool as the portion was huge. We didn’t eat dinner at the hotel, preferring to walk into town. There are dedicated cycle lanes everywhere and bikes for hire, or a taxi was €8. We were offered lots of treats, a birthday surprise and even a room upgrade. We can highly recommend the Lango.

We returned for a 3 night stay in April, and it was lovely to see many members of the Lango team had returned for the 2024 season! Lango is a well designed, impeccably clean, well maintained and managed hotel. What really sets this hotel apart from others is the team working to ensure you relax and enjoy your stay. The Lango team are all naturally very warm, friendly and engaging. On our arrival we received a really warm greeting as a returning guest, and then taken to our amazing room. I want to mention you both by name, but I forgot to make a note, sorry. Shortly after we settled in the room, we were brought a welcome drink, some sweet treats and a bottle of wine. On our first morning at breakfast we were greeted by the amazing Episteme, who remembered us and even our coffee order 8 months after our last visit! It is such a pleasure to see Episteme every morning, who takes the time to have a brief chat, and then checks on you throughout breakfast to ensure you have everything you need. Unlike other hotels, at Lango you are never left tying to get someone’s attention to order an omelette or coffee! The quality and taste of the food is also very good, and reasonably priced. We also appreciated that requests for non menu items were accommodated with additions being made to dishes we ordered. I’d also like to mention the man who I believe is the restaurant manger. He greets everyone in the morning, and takes the time to speak to you. It’s another example of the attention given to hotel guests. Bar team, as with everyone at Lango you are all very friendly and attentive. You weren’t all wearing name badges so I can only mention Dessy by name. Dessy thank you for our Pimms cocktails, this wasn’t a familiar drink to you, but you were keen to make it exactly how I wanted, and succeeded!! Zinet and the reception team, you are all amazing, thank you for always being very friendly, engaging and on hand to assist with any questions or requirements. It is thanks to Zinet when we visited last year and her detailed map of places to visit that cemented our appreciation of Kos! It doesn’t matter if it’s 7:30 am or midnight, whichever members of the reception team are working, they have a smile and enquire about our day/stay at the hotel. It is never a forced, unnatural politeness. I’d also like to mention Christina, the Hotel Manager. It is a credit to your recrui**ent, training and your management style to have such an amazing team, and so many returning employees for another season! Whilst I haven’t mentioned everyone by name, I would if I knew all of them! Thank you to everyone at Lango!

A simply wonderful stay in every aspect at Lango Design Hotel last week. The resort is complete 5 star all the way. The hotel is beautiful and every member of the staff from front of house/reception, poolside, breakfast service and room maids are so warm and friendly and attentive. There is SO much choice for breakfast ranging from fruit, bread and pastries to cold meets and English breakfast. The staff for breakfast all work so tirelessly to ensure you have everything you need. The pool area is beautiful as is the resorts beach area with there being more than enough beds for every resident staying there so there’s no need to get up early and try to secure a spot (if you are that way inclined)!!. Whilst the pool and its surrounding area are beautiful, with there also being 2 jacuzzis either end of the pool, we preferred the beach area with the main reason being you get a welcome breeze off the sea, not to mention stunning views over to Bodrum and the vista of other Greek islands. The walk into Kos Town is approx 2.6k / 30-40 minutes and is nice. Getting taxis on the Island can prove challenging so my major piece of advice is: - book a taxi well in advance (the morning before going into town in the evening or maybe even the day before) you pay a couple of €’s extra but it’s worth it👍🏻 - get the bus into town. It’s 2 stops on the bus and the bus stop is directly outside the hotel (by the Lango car park). It’s about €1.2 per person so is very inexpensive. Buses can be slightly ahead/behind their scheduled times so be alive to that and the hotel is able to give you the timetable. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly tidy. Our room overlooked the beach/sea with stunning views out to the various islands. The rooms are so quiet and peaceful you really do sleep well. All in all an amazing holiday and superb resort to stay at, we will most certainly be returning in the future. Thank you Lango team for making our stay so pleasurable we had a wonderful time.

I rarely go back to the same hotel twice, but this place is the best! Upon arrival, several of the staff remembered us from last year and were very welcoming. Upon entering our suite, we had a bottle of bubbly and a fruit platter, this was a nice touch. Our room was spotless, modern and clean, the toiletries are top quality. Our room was also very quiet. Breakfast is amazing with pretty much everything you could wish for. Epistimi greeted us with a welcome back hug and remembered our drinks orders every morning. She looked after us well and made us feel special. This hotel goes above and beyond. Staff are friendly but professional. It has a very laid-back feel, I had a spa trea**ent, and it was wonderful, all of the trea**ents are very reasonably priced. I have nothing negative to say about this place, we can't wait to return next year!

What an amazing hotel. Loved it. Modern design, which felt spacious and well thought out through out. Location by the private beach is ideal, with views to the Greek islands and Turkey whilst sat there having breakfast. By the way, the breakfast is extremely good. Well done! 30minute walk into town which is not terrible or €8 in a taxi (flat fee). Again, not bad. Nice to take the walk as you come across bars and tavernas along the way. Finally, the staff are exceptional. So professional and friendly throughout the whole stay. Cannot recommend highly enough. If you want a peaceful relaxing chilled holiday, then you will not be disappointed.
