Very old hotel and not very well maintained. It should be rated just only 2 stars at maximum.

Stayed 2 nights at HHI Kolkata. 4 star rating? Really?!! The hotel is in a run down condition. Only poor cover ups happening around the place. Filthy as well. Mould in bathrooms, power points cracked and unable to recharge our phone. False ceiling and wall plaster peeling off. Temperature control in room impossible. Either freeze or switch off aircon and potentially feel hot. Had our travel agent change our assigned rooms to an "upgraded" one but that made no difference. One of the rooms we got ( we had 2 rooms booked) , did not have a firm enough mattress leading to body aches in the morning. The hotel needs to close down for a while for a proper renovation and until that happens.. we cannot see how it can boast 4 star rating. Hotel staff in general though were helpful and welcoming.

Very nice service ,my room is always clean and they are always on time with my laundry. The employees are very welcoming always greeting everyone . Mr Prabir and Mr Shubrato was excellent and helpful always on everything that was needed . And the food also was very good.

Have a wanderful experience stationg in this property clean ambinnce and specifically the house keeping staff Mr.Prabir and Subrota was very helpful and polite during the stay.Food is very good. Locati on was news to the new market........

Very good service and excellent room condition. Prabir ji was excellent and helped a lot on everything that was needed food was awsum and must visit place for every occasion ambience was also good supporting staff and useful when called do cooperate

Have a wonderful experience staying in this property. Clean ambience and specifically the housekeeping staff Mr. Rajshekhar and Prasanjeet was very helpful and polite during the stay. Good food and location was near to the market place.

I'm greatfull to be staying in this hotel,all the staff treat me well and service is good aswell, perfect for couple to stay , room service is great,the staff makes you feel at home,the culture is different but the staff assist you anyway you need , please check this hotel once you visit Kolkata

Nice and comfortable stay. Lovely food and environment. Nice staff. Good and entertaining encounters with the staff Mr Amit and Mr Prabir and would love to visit again and stay here in my upcoming trips to Kolkata or anywhere elese in India where available....
