Haad Khuad Resort

The hotel room was very nice, clean, and staff was polite. The problem was location.. The beach was unbelievably dirty with thousands of bottles and other trash swimming in the water. Although the people were trying to clean it there was a river next to hotel covered with trash. Other problem was the transportation to the hotel, because it is impossible to get to hotel by scooter you need to take a SUV taxi that stops working after 6pm and after that you need to walk through the jungle where we even saw snakes.. so if you are planning to stay just in a hotel and not go to other beaches it might not be a problem.

Çünkü ulaşımın kolay olmadığı, ücra bir yerde olacaksınız, ama ihtiyacınız buysa işte o zaman bu otel, size aradığınızı verecek. Adanın en güzel koyunda, 4 tane restaurantın bulunduğu, sürekli gölgesi olan, ormanın içinde harika bir yer. Wi-fi iyi çekiyor. Çalışanlar her türlü ihtiyacınız için orada ve güleryüzlüler. Sıcak su yok. Fan ***et yeterli oluyor, çünkü ada sürekli esiyor. Market yok. Bu nedenle gelmeden abur cubur, sigara, çakmak, ilaç vb gibi ihtiyaçlarınızı almanız gerekiyor. Odalarda buzdolabı ve kettle yok. Otele ulaşım için otel, transfer seçeneği sunuyor. Hiç araştırma yapmadan kabul edebilirsiniz. Hem en uygun fiyatı veriyorlar hem de inceğiniz yerden alınıp otele kadar, aktarma yapmadan gidiyorsunuz. Yolum yine düşerse kesinlikle yeniden tercih ederim.

Incredible place. Beautiful beach, lovely staff. It was the most delightful stay. For people looking for insight, the accommodation is comfortable, no hot water, no AC, it's difficult to get to - I think this makes it perfect! But it's not a shopping, nightlife, convenient place. I think it's paradise

Stay away from this resort!!! First I would like to mention that we were deliberately deceived: For example, the new menu was shown on the homepage/Facebook, as is also shown an open restaurant. However, upon arrival this was closed and in a state of disrepair: no resemblance to what can be seen on the current homepage... The cleanliness of the room was a catastrophe: dirty towels and curtains, a saggy mattress, an absolutely disgusting refrigerator, splattered mirrors and a non-functional toilet and cleaning only every three days... Through multiple e-mail traffic in advance (due to picking up at another resort) we could have been made aware of the grievances, if not had to. We then checked out immediately and moved to a resort next door; so didn't spend a night there. We have complained to our tour operator about the grievances and asked for a refund - the resort, however, plays dead and simply does not answer the operator; which is why we are now sitting on the costs. Therefore: rather go to Bottle Beach 1 or something like that... THILO.

Impossible to get to without using their shuttle that you have to pay additional for. The drive from the port or any town is about 30-40 min drive after getting through the dirt road. Don't go on your bike or car, only an ALL WHEEL DRIVE vehicle. Trucks can go through this road. You can go to nearby towns by boat (we didn't use that option). The property is neat the owners are nice and an amazing beach is right there. So if you want to be in the middle of nowhere for a week or so, this is the place to go to.

Perfect if you need a break on your travels from the craziness of socialising and non stop moving. Located on bottle beach it’s self. It’s tranquil quiet and like paradise. Difficult to get to seen as can only be entered by boat or 4x4, but in my opinion made more of an experience. Staff were great and accommodated to all our needs from food, drink, washing, taxis. Incredibly priced and would recommend for the quieter side or the island !!
