I stayed with my wife and daughter, Overall my stay was perfect however I would like to highlight few things can be improved. Restaurant service is slow, food options are great , there were more than enough varieties orin the Buffet we always had the option to order from the Ala carte menu. I would like to say a big thank you to Sangeeta from the buffet restaurant . She was superb, as soon as we entered the restaurant she attends us with a big smile on the face. She know her job very well. Cleanliness- Room cleaning was done every morning when we leave for breakfast. our room cleaning guy Mr. Afazzudhin was the highlight. He always make sure our room is cleaned before we get back from Breakfast. He is a friendly and very professional I would give 5 star for cleanliness. Hassan & Family

We had an amazing time at the resort! The location, room, and facilities were perfect for what we were looking for. We especially enjoyed the continental breakfast each morning. The staff provided exceptional service and were incredibly friendly and humble. A big thank you to everyone—front desk, serving staff, and security—for making our stay so enjoyable!

One of the most beautiful properties I stayed at! We got a sea facing room and to our amazement we saw dolphins from our room's window!! what an experience I must confess. Thanks to Jasmin who told us about this and made our anniversary stay extra special. Jasmin, I won't forget the warmth you showered us with! She truly believes in ”Atithi devo bhava”. The staff at Taj was very warm. Right from welcoming us with tilak and dance to saying goodbye with Kerala mural everything was perfect. The food was yum. Sunset cruise was an unforgettable experience. Elizabeth, the guest relations manager takes you to a guided tour on cruise with a person (I forgot his name) who plays flute. Such an informative cruise. Boat ride was never this interesting. Very calm and peaceful experience. Evening snacks, Dinner, breakfast every meal has live music! Piano, tabla, flute, vocals! You name it they have it :D You forget all your work stress when you step in this hotel. The pool has an amazing view of back waters and sunset from the pool is breathtaking. The effort their staff does to make you feel valued is unmatched. I ordered masala dosa for breakfast and they put fresh tadka on the chutneys. Does it make any difference in taste? Not much. Does it makes you feel special? Oh yes!! When the staff sees you are exiting from the room, they press lift button for you. Does it take a lot of effort to do this? probably no. Does it make you feel valued? A big yes! People like me notice these things and they stay with me forever. No one matches TAJ in hospitality. I am definitely going again to stay here. Absolutely loved and enjoyed my stay.

I stayed with family at this hotel for 3 days it was very good experience, the hotel was clean and rooms big and services very good also have space for walk in hotel like park and many activities, like boating,🧘♀️, etc

The hotel left a very mixed impression. On the one hand, it is absolutely charming - the design of the hotel, the rooms, the courtyard - all this touches and immerses you in an atmosphere of rest and relaxation. On the other hand, there are a lot of disadvantages that can outweigh the advantages. For example, the rooms are very cold even when the air conditioner is off. And in general, air conditioners are constantly working everywhere, so I did not get out of a warm sweater with a hood. Didn't like the food. I understand that this is India, but usually large hotels also have a European menu. Here, too, there were options, but either peppered and spicy anyway, or a la fast food (pizza and burgers). In general, if you are a gastritis, an ulcer, or for some other reason are limited in nutrition, then you will have a very difficult time. The staff is very arrogant (not all of course, but the general mass), there is always a feeling that you owe them something. Well, the last little remark, speaking about the attitude and sensitivity of the staff: we arrived on my husband's birthday and did not even hear the banal ”happy birthday” at the check-in. First time like this. Usually they will at least verbally congratulate, as a maximum they will treat you with cakes)

We had to change from our big bus to a small one at the entrance of the old city because of the narrow streets. We arrived at this hotel named Frangrant Nature not knowing what to expect. It is a beautiful hotel starting with the staff at the front door the very traditional decor and spacious and very comfortable room with the biggest shower I've ever seen. The spa always has staff on hand and it was possible just to walk in and get an excellent aryuved massage. There could have been more electrical outlets for charging phones near the beds.

This hotel wins immediately on check in. It has character and an ambience in the style and pedigree of a Raffles-type hotel...... down to ”civilised” afternoon tea at 5 pm. Under the attentive and watchful eyes of the GM and Front Office Manager the whole hotel hums ***** with service to the fore. Three restaurants offer a variety of wonderful Indian and European cuisine. The location of the hotel makes for easy walking to various sites. To not stay here would mean missing a wonderful experience.

Hotel is more suited for business travellers as nearby corporates offices suggests. As a solo leisure traveller the hotel was not for me, in terms of sightseeing etc with everything futher away. Breakfast and dinner selection was somewhat limited but nice food. Prakash the waiter served with care and efficiency. At the Spa on one of the nights there was no one there at the reception to take queries as the one and only therapist was engaged with an appointment! So what does one do wait for hours to be atteneded to? As a sign suggested i left a message for a call back for an appointment, but got none.

What we greatly appreciated was that while the furnishings were traditional, the amenities were modern and contemporary. Owned by the biggest name in the antiques trade, mr. Majnu, who became a dear friend by the end of our stay, each spacious room is individually designed with artefacts reflecting its character. Alan at front desk and all members of staff were courteous and attentive, ever-ready to help. The location, on the waterfront, is in the heart of the old jew town of mattancherry, with the parades i synagogue and dutch palace a stone’s throw away. Its waterside restaurant is popular with in-house guests and walk-ins alike. Highly recommend this hotel!
