Residence Inn Knoxville Cedar Bluff

The people who work in this location are AMAZING. From the front desk daytime to night time, breakfast crew, each and every one has compassion and kindness. The people you have working for you make a hotel experience and these ladies are over the top! My husband was here for two weeks for work and our family traveled with him the first few days. They made us feel like the most important people and had hot chocolate ready each evening. Ended up my husband injured himself (off site) while there and they were so kind to us through that whole process and us returning. They made our lives so easy that two weeks!! Management should be so grateful for their empathetic, polite, welcoming staff!

We were just passing through for the night. We got the last room which was a handicapped room. Very spacious. We have stayed in other ones like this. The bathroom was larger but otherwise I feel the amount of space throughout the suite was the same in other Residence Inn’s similar to this. The girl at the front was extremely nice. The place is so clean and well stocked room. In the morning we are always very close to breakfast being over. It’s your usual oa**eal , breads , egg, sausage. There were no more egg fajitas when we got there.. yogurt , coffee and I loved the lemon packets to put In my water. They also had cookies upon arrival. We could not find an ice machine and forgot our full-size refrigerator had an icemaker inside of it. We asked the girl at the front desk in the morning where the ice machine was and she said the hotel doesn’t have any but she would get us a Ziploc bag of ice so she did that and when I asked her, she was doing another task for the hotel to keep it clean and she just stopped what she was doing to help me. She was extremely nice and willing to go out of her way which I didn’t want her to do. The hotel is in a safe area and tons of places to eat you really can walk to. Would definitely stay here again. Last time we were in the Knoxville area we stayed at Turkey Creek and I was not happy with it there so we tried to Cedar Bluff and I am so happy that we did. We are Marriott Bonvoy members and this place was just exceptional.

wi fi is ridiculously slow but surprisingly fast if you're willing to upgrade for $5 / day. Wake up Mariott it's 2024. Great way to nickel and dime people for a service that's about as expected as getting a car that has tires.

My advice is check other hotels in the area. You’ll probably find something just as nice for less money. Staff was great, breakfast was very good and overall the property was clean. However, the evening reception was eliminated in COVID and never brought back. The pool is heated, but it was closed for the season. And the temperature was in the 80s for the week we were there. Most frustrating was they only clean the rooms every 4 days! And they don’t tell you at check in. So imagine 2 adults with 3 towels for 4 days. They will give you clean towels if you ask. But there are only 2 tiny waste baskets in the suite. We didn’t cook or bring back meals but if we had there would be food trash sitting for days. I can’t believe that’s very healthy. Also bring lotion-there’s none in the room. Even Super 8 provides that. Location is good and there’s lots of nice restaurants in the area.

Coming home driving from Kansas City to South Carolina, pulling our 25 foot camper. Decided to stop at Knoxville for overnight instead of driving to South Carolina. I made a reservation through Samantha who was the epitome of customer service! Concern over having our camper and parking availability, Samantha kept in contact to let us know if there will be room for both truck and camper on their premises, throughout our drive. Room very clean, and the whole staff was amazing! Samatha n her co worker went above n beyond in providing GREAT cust. Serv. BRAVO Residence inn Cedar bluff for having an epic staff!

Exceptional!!! The room was clean and smelled really nice. Dani, who worked the night shift was warm, welcoming, and make the stay extra pleasant. She went over and beyond to make us feel at home and I appreciated her service.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way home from a family vacation to South Carolina. The front desk staff were extremely friendly, efficient and professional. We got in late after an 8 hour drive with 3 adults and 1 small child. We got a 1st floor room. The room had a slight odor when we entered. We contacted the front desk staff about this. They didnt have another 1st floor room which we needed. They gave us Frebreze which dis help remove the smell. The room had 2 bedrooms and provided ample space for our short stay. The water pressure was good. We picked up take out from one of the many nearby eating places. The beds were comfortable and roomy. We ate breakfast the next morning at the hotel. They provided hot options like eggs, waffles, sausage, and oa**eal. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at a Residence Inn again.

We stayed 1 night passing through on a 2 day road trip. We had 3 adults a 1 child in a 2 room suite. The staff on arrival were very professional and friendly. Samantha took care of us quickly ... which was nice after an 8 hour car trip. The room was clean, equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The air-conditioning worked well. The water pressure in the shower was really good. The room had ample space which was good with a 3 year old. The continental breakfast the next morning had hot food (waffles, sausage, eggs (which were very fluffy and oa**eal along with several other offerings). The staff were so friendly to us, especially our 3 year old. We would definitely recommend this stay and would stay there again.
