We had the warmest of welcomes and great hospitality at this modest unpretentious hotel, just when we needed it most - after a terrifying drive through a blizzard down the E10. Even though we were just staying in their car park in our mobile home, the hospitality was generous and beyond anything we expected. Thanks so much!

The overall feeling is very good. The cabin is in the form of a room and a cabin and the car can be driven to the door of the cabin. It is very convenient to take luggage and everything. The room is not very warm in the cabin and found that half of a radiator does not seem to be hot, so call the front desk Send someone to the front desk immediately
I thought it was normal when I came, and I was afraid that we felt cold. In addition, I gave a heating service. The attitude is also very good. Lunch and dinner in the hotel are also delicious. The price is also OK and the hotel can order various items. The service attitude of the sled is very good
Let’s talk about breakfast. Breakfast is included in the room rate. It’s very good. There are a lot of things and they are all delicious. Anyway, it feels good.

Stayed here for a night after 2 nights in Abisko before proceeding to Stockholm. A very comfortable hotel with 70 rooms and another 30 or so nearing completion. Would rate the property more than 3 stars. Breakfast was large and varied and of a good quality. Rooms were decent sized with modern bathrooms. A pool and sauna is also available. Visited the ice hotel and would recommended staying in town to get a flavour of the city. Interesting pubs and food scene.

Fairly basic ‘hostel’ twin room …. With en-suite toilet - showers and sauna along the corridor. Very comfy beds, easy to control heating and ventilation, good storage space. Excellent breakfast included. Access to kitchenette(s) with fridge space etc and comfy seating area. Excellent and reasonable restaurant in main building (see separate review). Hostel at the ‘top’ of the ‘old centre’ with access to walking/skiing trails etc.

We found Aurora River Camp a magical place to stay in a winter wonderland. Staying in the glass Igloo facing the frozen Torne River was a lifetime experience for us. We were surprised at how well-designed and high-tech the igloo was with touchscreen controls for everything and more than sufficient amenities, while overlooking the white snowfield all around. It was amazing to find the different lights, the hot plate, enough utensils, a freezer, a running water wash basin, and personal Wifi inside the igloo. Once inside, we never felt that the outside temperature was -25C with the heating controlled by a touchscreen thermostat. The facilities at the common house for breakfast were more than adequate and the both-way transfer was the icing on the cake. Adventurous people could even easily walk over the frozen Torne River to check out the Ice Hotel across.
