A very nice hotel with a combination of old and new buildings. Best location and view for hotel in Kangaroo Island. The only let down is the quality of bed and pillow.

Kingscote is a great location to get around the island. The accommodation was clean with helpful and friendly staff. Stunning view from the restaurant.

The hotel is well-situated, rooms clean and roomy. Unfortunately the walls are thin, so we heard a lot from people staying above us and next door.. Bars close quite early.

The hotel and staff were great, recommend for a good holiday base. Room had everything we needed. The restaurant could better utilize the local produce and flavours, and was overpriced compared to the food available at nearby eateries.

The property was in a great location close to the water. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, even getting us dishes and cutlery so we could bring food to our room.
The only meal we had was the buffet breakfast and it was not great, especially for the price of $25. It was very limited and half the items were empty when we arrived.
We also found it frustrating that we had to walk across the street to check in and out.
