I'm giving five stars because it truly earns it. Clean hotel, nice staff, and love that rooms still have coffee makers, small refrigerators, and microwaves. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel offering free breakfast. Don't pass on that. As a pet owner, you get value in this hotel staying with your pet. I will stay here for every trip to Kingman in the future.

Check in went well. Easy and simple. The room although comfortable was in disrepair. Wall paper was peeling off the wall in my bathroom. There were 3 roaches crawling around in the bathroom. The night girl was working hard and handling everything by herself and the lines were backed up at the counter. It would be nice if you staffed a second person so 1 person wasn't running the entire building and answering phones by herself.

I did not like that I was never told that if I wanted my room made up I needed to ask. I think that is bad policy. So the 2nd day we had no towels or bath supplies, I had to ask for them. Also the trash was overflowing because no one emptied the trash because there was no plan to do it unless I specifically asked for the room to be made up. Bad policy and I was never informed of the bad policy.

Negatives: Walls are very thin. Heard the guest in the room next to ours. Coughing and voice sounded like he was in the same room with us. Stayed on the 3rd floor, heard walking and thumping noise really loud from the 4th floor. No water bottle in the room for the coffee maker.
Positives: breakfast was good and clean.

Kingman is a difficult town. But. It is the only place to stay on long 140 treks. And they know it. This place is reliable. Their night front desk clerk was a tart. Their morning clerk made up for allll of the other clerk’s customer service inability. The place is clean. Beds great. Very roomy. Nice place to stay. The pool was down. Very irritating. I chose it for the pool. But…. It served the purpose. 1 night stay.
