Super 8 by Wyndham Kimball

Right off interstate was a plus. Front desk guy neither nice nor unpleasant. Room was fairly clean. Electric fixture near sink was fried and didn’t work. A couple of the lamps either didn’t work or needed bulb change. Water pooled in shower, so I guess they’re making up for not having a pool outside. In the morning, housekeeping came back a second time knocking, after being told I’d be checking out the first time. The second time he dared to ask me what time I’d leave and started suggesting times, like “Maybe 10:20 or 10:30”, when my reply was only “I’ll be out by checkout time at 11:00”. Mind you, it’s only 9:20 a.m., and this is the 2nd time they’ve knocked on my door! So staff could use some training. But it’s clear its family owned buy an Indian family who seem to live on-site. So heads up.

The people who run this motel are very nice. Had an inside room with window to outside. Room was clean and everything worked. Right off the freeway -very convenient. Nice highway to town, about a mile. Stayed two nights. There was breakfast, but I ate what I brought with me. Next trip will probably stay again.👍👍😊

We were upgraded to a King Room upon checkin. Room was huge, clean , comfortable. Loved the huge Nebraska farm picture hanging over bed. Our room was on 2nd floor, no elevator which wasn’t a problem for us. Breakfast was ok. Hot item was waffles. Limited dining options at this exit.

We were caught up in ice and snow storm in Kimball Nebraska, while driving my son and his fiance across country, to move him to Alabama . This was the most convenient and accessible hotel for us to stop and spend the night at. The parking lot literally had 7 vehicles including ours in the parking lot, yet we could not get two rooms next to each other. My husband and I both suffer from terminal cancer and I am on oxygen, so it would have been wonderful to have one of the rooms that had a door to the outside and on the ground floor. The parking lot and all sidewalks were covered in ice and about 4 inches of snow making walking with luggage and an oxygen machine very cumbersome. Besides being unaccommodating , the staff was rude and uncaring. They had signs stating that they offer a breakfast, well, that consisted of a gallon of milk ,cold cereal, and bananas and that was the extent of breakfast. I was highly disappointed in this Super 8, and I have traveled across country numorouse times and stayed at Super 8's in several states and locations. However, I do have to say that the room was clean enough to sleep in which was a plus considering the service and accessibility for the handicapped was well below standard.

Worst stay I ever had. Overwhelming smell of smoke, poop in toilet from previous guest and top it off with a TV that doesn't work I have no problem with other foreigners but don't mumble with a thick Indian accent

Super 8 near the highway and across the road from gas station and diner was easy on and off of interstate. Staff was quiet but competent. I was quite pleased with the room, the mattress, and cleanliness of the room.

Clean, comfortable room; tv and wifi worked fine. Nice table to sit at. The only downside is that Kimball has almost no amenities - there didn't seem to be any open restaurants except a Subway sandwich shop. Ok place if you are road, but don't expect a dinner in town.

Stopped here one night late on our way to Wyoming, glad it was a short stay. Carpet throughout the place is old and filthy. Room was basic, but the bedding was old & worn, pillows cheap & small. “Blanket” was a thin brown rough material with holes in it Water tasted dirty & thus coffee was no good. Didn’t expect much for the free breakfast & it wasn’t much but some basic breads & waffles. Staff was friendly & greeted us upon arrival. But clearly very little if any of the room fee is being invested into maintenance & upgrades. Not a place I’d stay at again.

Rooms were dirty. Blankets were awful. Rooms weee too hot. Carpets were very dirty. The man in the morning was rude to my granddaughter. I would not come back again. I thought for the money we paid it would be better. The check in man was very nice and helpful.
