No long term complaints about the area around property other than the construction - which will be completed shortly.

The staff are lovely and enhance the quality of the stay here. Breakfast was excellent. Restaurant average. Room comfortable and well laid out.
There is NO PARKING within the hotel grounds but on street parking outside and it is pot luck whether you can park close by. The claim to have parking is misleading at best.
Location overlooking the Harbour is excellent.

The property is old style quaint and very clean. Our double and single bed room was nice and roomy. There are nice eating venues nearby and a brilliant fish and chip kiosk down on the seaside. Joan and Loretta on the desk were very helpful on arrival as was the gentleman on the desk next morning.

We reserved the Diamond Suite. It is a good-sized room. It was clean and quiet. The staff was kind. The only problem is that the beds need to be replaced. There are no springs left, and we sunk to the middle of the bed. We all woke up with our backs hurting.
