Nimbo Fork Lodge

A truly beautiful location for a night away, we could not fault anything during our stay, our cottage had the most beautiful view with everything thought of, staff were so lovely and helpful, food was amazing also! Would definitely return for another relaxing stay!

The Three Blue Ducks restaurant is really very good and the location of the lodge is fantastic. The furnishings and layout of the room was very nice but nicer still are the staff who are well trained and attentive, well done. Room 9 in the lodge, and I suspect Room 10, do not warrant a 5 star status sadly. Room 9 is directly above the kitchen so noise from below is constant through meal times and nightly cleanup. Worse still, the riser for the kitchen extractor fan runs right through the room behind one skin of wall so the constant hum of the fan is very intrusive. I had to put on noise cancelling headphones to be able to read until the fan was turned off around 9:30pm. TBH, I'm surprised that this room isn't used as a store room rather than a guest room. I'm sure other rooms in the lodge do not have this problem (perhaps room 10) and it wouldn't be a problem in the cabins.

The perfect Australian country retreat. We loved the setting with our cottage overlooking Tumut and Nimbo Rivers. Access through scenic countryside, and greeted by happy professional staff on arrival. The cottage is beautifully appointed clean and spacious. Our breakfast hamper was delicious and plentiful. Restaurant closed on our visit, but our dinner from Gundagai was excellent on the verandah, with the best view. Walking and fly fishing along the river, just delightful. Thank you and already looking forward to next visit

A night stay on our way home and also to dine at 3 Blue Duck. Stay in one of their rooms not their cottages. Room was lovely, tasteful deco with great outlook. Overlook river Tumut meets Nimbo river. Staff were wonderful, provided a quick overview of the locations of each venue. Drive into lodge is via a dirt road. If first time here, best arrive before dark

Best location, beautiful vibe & food - so much to see & do in the area so worth staying a couple of days. We stayed inside the lodge with river views - great value. So much food with the set menu we took our dessert back to our room to have the next day. Treat yourself !

We went here to relax and recharge which is exactly what happened. Our view of the flowing river, great service, a scenic river walk and a very comfortable bed made it easy to unwind. The space between each lodge is something that I really liked, it gives much more privacy than a balcony motel unit. We will definitely be back on a regular basis.
