Really modern and well appointed hotel. Probably the most modern in Khon Kaen. Restaurants are decent and not overly priced like other hotels in the area. I stay here because it’s new and there is probably the best gym in the city a 2 min walk from there called Mega Gym. The only issue I had was for a super modern hotel the rooms have old flat screens that are not HDMI compatible. Very strange to be honest as the older hotels in Khon Kaen all have smart TVs. This actually caused me to move during my 2 week stay in the city. Besides that very nice hotel and great staff.

After a grand opening, I wanted to take a few days to relax before heading home. The room is amazing, and the food is incredible (I recommend Italian food). I look forward to returning. On the 28th floor, the highlight is a glass bridge that is 105 meters long. Enjoy the romantic evening atmosphere.

As an American geology professor, I have stayed in many Thai hotels and have found none the offers the unique simple elegance of The Charm. A quiet oasis in the heart of a fast-paced, evolving neighborhood, the Charm is a  very special and surprisingly affordable hotel.  Spotless rooms, comfortable beds, fluffy towels, great hot showers, excellent free breakfasts with a variety of Asian and traditional American choices, a beautiful lobby and eating area, and a fleet of free loaner bicycles  are just some of the reasons I love staying at the Charm. Attentive staff members are so friendly and, although not all will respond to me in English, they usually understand me and will consult a co-worker who can facilitate, if necessary. The highlight of my stays at the  Charm is a zen-like garden park, with a large lotus-filled pond, and a walking trail that features native  stones and plants. These immaculate grounds host families of geese, chickens, and fish ponds filled with lively koi and goldfish which are a testement to the creative passion of the hotel owner and her family. There are no  coffee pots, microwaves, weight rooms or swimming pools at the Charm, but instead a  simple peaceful ambiance that frees the soul. During several month-long collaborations at Khon Kean University over the past 5 years, I  have found the proximity to campus to be ideal. There is a local fitness park/small lake within walking distance and the hotel is surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops, and is withn a block of a 7-11's and laundromats. Unlike so many affordable hotels I've stayed at in Thailand, the Charm is well mantained. During my most recent stay (2019), electrical outlets, air conditioning units and bathroom rennovations were being made (although I didn't notice any deterioration in my room).

The ideal place to stay if you have business in the Srinakarin Hospital. You walk out of the hotel to the pedestrian crossing over Mitthapap Rd and you've reached your destination ... . The walk-in rate at was 790THB, while on booking.c or agod you get the same room for 685THB. Room had standard equipment and was clean. Everything in good working order. Excellent Isaan-food restaurant right next to the pedestrian Xing (nothing much else in the immediat neighborhood when you want to have dinner ... ). Though breakfast was incl. in the price, we were off very early so can not comment on that. All in all good deal.

Baan Phor Phan is a very convenient place to stay. near Moho Kan market Going to bed early and waking up to run at Bueng Sithan is comfortable, just walk across the road a bit, near 7-11, next to a laundry shop. The parking lot is good. The staff provided good service. very polite

The room looks new, the bed is soft, big, comfortable, but a little stuck with cleaning, there are still hair fragments and the floor still has traces and dust. Overall, the decoration is good. The bed is very comfortable. I want to have an extra hair dryer. But the new room This price is very worthwhile.

The bed is comfortable, everything works, access and parking are good, rooms are very clean and well serviced by efficient, helpful and friendly staff. BUT . . . .Funky (though irrelevant) decor can never overcome basic problems with any establishment. There is no possible way this place deserves the high rating received. I was unfortunately forced to extend my stay so can write with some experience. First, the noise: the building has a U-shape design facing the street so it cleverly collects all the street noise and directs it into the front rooms, and what street noise. All night bikes and cars, even loud conversations exacerbated by a further design feature, the balconies, which require opening doors and therefore exclude the possibility of well-sealed windows. Then there is the white tiled floors which carry internal sounds nicely ensuring various knocks, loud TV and cleaning activity are clearly audible. Those same white tiles throughout also ensure plenty of reflected glare from sun and downlights as well. It all probably looked good in the plans! More importantly there is the kitchen, or rather lack of one. How a large modern hotel believes it can operate conveniently for guests without any kitchen or even dining area is a mystery. Again, worsened by the lack of reasonable equipment and utensils in the rooms - no sink, few cutlery/crockery pieces, no microwave which you would think a hotel without a kitchen would provide. Enquiring of desk staff what to do the answer was mostly of a shrugging nature. They didn't say eg that across the road was the hotel Le Cassia with a very pleasant dining area and breakfast for 150 baht. A walk around found some recompense in street food and a couple of fancy restaurants but they were a fair walk and not much good for breakfast. So location, also nah! To go anywhere you need a lengthy walk or a vehicle, and there isn't the ready availability of tuk-tuks or cabs as there is elsewhere. All-in-all this adds up to a pretty poor experience, despite any good points the hotel has, and it does have some as described. Value is just as available in other hotels without the drawbacks. The desk staff could be a little less sullen and more forthcoming also, and have some English - it is the hospitality industry after all. Most of this of course cannot be changed by management but more effort to overcome the problems would go a long way to improvement.

Affordable daily room with TV, water heater, dining table, air conditioner, towels, but the TV rarely has channels to watch so it doesn't turn on. The way up to the building is a key card system. But there is no elevator, only 3 floors high, and the outside is next to the evening market. There will be food ready to eat, side dishes, snacks, fruits, inexpensive prices, selling a lot. Including the service is very good The host speaks politely.

The room is spacious, the bed is double, does not like the bathroom. Looks very ordinary compared to the bedroom. Plus, where the shower is, the water will stagnate, not drain itself, the old air conditioner but cool and comfortable. Old towels but look clean. There is no water heater in the room. It is a hotel that is adjusted from a dormitory, making it cheap, TV is a digital TV, the sound is not good. Lose, including the picture I do not understand many hotels with balconies that can open the door. Price is not expensive. Large and nice with floor to ceiling windows/ doors to the balcony. Can see the local people in their daily life. Can hear a bit of vehicle sounds but that doesn’t bother me. Got basic toiletries and 2 bottles of water. Old but good to stay. The male staff working at night at the front desk is polite and welcoming. We arrived by song theaw from Khon Kean bus station then walked into the small lane for a few minutes.
