O hotel está localizado em frente a uma das portas de entrada da muralha que cerca Ichan-Kala, que foi o primeiro sítio classificado pela UNESCO como Patrimônio Mundial no Uzbequistão. Isso é uma grande vantagem, já Khiva está localizada em um oásis e o calor pode atrapalhar a visita. Decoração antiquada, café da manhã fraco para padrões ocidentais e um pouco tumultuado, pelo menos no dia em que passamos por lá. Por sua localização, vale o custo benefício

Just across the street from the South Gate in the old town walls lies this pleasant hotel. Our room was spacious and clean, with a working safe and fridge. I was less enthusiastic about the shower in tub which is always slippery. There was a pleasant garden outside our room, and a small pool was available for outdoor swimming. Pool service required some patience but was ultimately available. The breakfast buffet was ample, and there was plenty of space in that restaurant.

I was on a Gate One/Discovery Tour. This was the hotel they use. I was in room 12, which had two twin beds, on the ground floor and faces the front of the hotel. Bed and pillows were comfortable. No body lotion or bath gel. Towels very thin. Mini bar. Safe. Could hear people talking in the lobby during the day but quiet at night. Very good location. Adjacent to the walls and one of the gates to enter the Old Town. Staff spoke English and very nice. No elevator if your room is located upstairs. Staff will help with luggage. Breakfast was adequate.

Large scale hotel frequented by large travelling tour groups passing through, so expect reception to be occasionally heaving and a bun-fight at the buffet breakfast! Beautiful gardens provide interest and a restful seating area. Internet coverage isn't great due to patchy coverage but not really a problem as a quick visit to your location reception gives adequate access. Location is unbeatable in Khiva - adjacent to the walls and opposite the West gate entrance- Brilliant. Somewhat dated in a very post Soviet style but clean and fully serviceable. As ever in Uzbekistan brilliant attentive helpful staff.

Pros Good proximity to old city Friendly staff...we took an early flight from taskent and were given an early check in which was much appreciated Large size rooms ( we had the suite) which comfortable beds. Gorgeous garden area Cons Breakfast was lack lustre, and could ve improved No wifi in room...only around each lobby.

The staff here were especially nice and helpful. The room was great as were the beds and toilet facilities. The only complaint we had when we were there was the pool was not open due to some work being done. But the breakfast was good and the staff were very nice. They let us check out very late as we had a late flight to catch. That was very much appreciated.

A wonderful welcoming hotel just outside khiva town perfect for walking alone as a female although i would get someone to walk with you as it does get dark at night with little light but i think it is very safe the room was spacious wonderful the staff very accommodating There is a fantastic outside pool with bar area overlooking it we congregated most nights there as a group. the gardens are also beautiful at the back of the hotel . i would go back in a heart beat as so convenient to khiva

A very good hotel just outside the walls of the Old City of Khiva. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was large and well appointed. Breakfast service was plentiful and of good quality. The swimming pool was refreshing and clean. The hotel has a wonderful garden at the back and it a good place to sit in the shade after walking about Khiva. Recommended.

A perfect location just outside the city walls. We found it a bit old fashioned but it was very clean. Our room overlooked the city walls with a small outside patio to enjoy the sunset (although it was very hot in June so we didn't make the best of it). The bed was the smallest we had whilst in Uzbekistan and a few more sockets would have been useful but this didn't spoil our enjoyment at all.
