This is very much a standard premier inn. Comfy and functional rooms, and a good buffet breakfast. It's a short walk into the centre of Keswick, and we had a nice view in that direction from our room. The downside is that they have a very small car park. We arrived very late after a very long drive there after work on a Friday night. Trying to find the Pencil Museum car park without a map, inadequate signs, and no street lighting proved too much for my tired brain, but the night staff were super. They helped me find a different lit car park with overnight parking and gave my little one snacks whilst I was trying to park, and my husband was checking us in. They gave me and my husband a much needed coffee too. They went above and beyond what was expected. All the staff we encountered at the hotel were friendly and especially good with speaking to our toddler.
