"Great location with a beautiful view of the Trishul and Nanda Devi peaks. Well maintained hotel with a lovely sit out amidst colourful flowering plants. The food and snacks are tasty and well cooked. Tea/coffee servings in the room. Nice to sit out in the balcony with steaming cups of coffee, for gorgeous sunrise and sunsets. The staff are helpful and courteous. The rooms are big and the bathroom has been renovated with a shower cubicle. The linen, blankets and upholstery in the rooms need cleaning/ upgrading."

"O Suman Royal Resort é um excelente local de estadia em Kausani, oferece vistas incríveis para as montanhas Himalayan do balcão do seu quarto. O resort está idealmente localizado, pois a maioria dos lugares para visitar também está perto e Kausani é uma pequena estação de montanha, o hotel tem um lindo jardim, quartos decentes, nenhum ruído de tráfego e absolutamente pacífico para ficar. A comida é boa, TEM boas opções para pequeno-almoço e jantar.O serviço é muito bom e a gestão do pessoal é muito útil e cortesía.Você Pode ver o nascer do sol aqui em cerca de 5.30 é do balcão. "We stayed at this property for three days to celebrate my daughter’s first birthday—a milestone we had planned meticulously. My wife flew from Bangalore to Delhi, and the next day we drove 12 exhausting hours from Delhi to Kausani solely to celebrate this special day. I noticed the property manager walking around with a DSLR, so I asked if he could take a few photos during the celebration. He readily agreed. Since we weren’t aware that the property had its own bakery, we bought a cake from a local shop in the village. That evening, all dressed up and excited, we went to the campfire area. The moment the manager saw that we had brought an outside cake, his attitude changed completely. He flatly refused to take photos and abruptly declared that birthday celebrations were not allowed in the common cafeteria unless we purchased a cake from their bakery. When I politely explained that my wife had flown in, that we had travelled 12 hours with a toddler, and that this moment was extremely important to us, he showed zero empathy. He kept repeating "hotel policy" and even told us to go back to our room, citing "possibility of food poisoning"—even after we assured him we wouldn’t share the cake with anyone. I even offered to buy another cake from their bakery and pay additional service charges, yet he still refused. Only after repeated requests did he reluctantly agree, but by then the excitement and joy of the moment were already ruined. The level of inhospitableness we experienced was shocking—especially on such an important day in our lives. I have travelled extensively, and this was by far one of the most unwelcoming properties I have ever stayed in. They also advertise “unlimited breakfast,” but everything is made to order, and the delays are ridiculous. For example, it took them 40 minutes to bring a simple toast—even though we were the only guests in the dining area. This wasn’t a one-off—service was consistently slow throughout our 3‑day stay. Final Review: The property is pretty good view The property is overpriced for what it offers. The location is nice, and the place is new and clean—that’s the only positive. It’s acceptable if you just need a place for a single night while passing through. For anything more than a day, I strongly recommend choosing another property. There are far better options with actual hospitality."
