"Fiquei no Centro de Ibis Kaunas por duas noites e tive UMA boa experiência.A localização é UMA real ênfase. É muito central, cerca de 10-minute andar para a Cidade Velha, diretamente perto da estação principal de autocarro, e menos de cinco minutos a pé para a estação principal de comboios. O quarto estava limpo e confortável, exatamente o que EU esperava de um Ibis.Tudo estava EM ordem e adequado para um curto estadia. O pequeno-almoço estava um pouco misturado, e a primeira manhã estava extremamente ocupada, com a maior parte do almoço já desaparecido e nenhuma cadeira disponível, então EU acabei de levar o pequeno-almoço de volta para o quarto. A segunda manhã era muito melhor, já que fui antes, e não tinha nenhum problema, e a seleção de alimentos estava bem quando estava devidamente armazenada. Em geral, é uma opção sólida se você estiver procurando um hotel limpo e prático em uma localização muito conveniente, especialmente para conexões de viagem."

"There are many convenience stores downstairs of the hotel. It only takes 15 minutes to walk to other attractions. The breakfast is also very rich. The staff is friendly and willing to answer questions. The only drawback is that the room is always freezing and the water pressure in the bathroom is not high enough. It is hot. The water is not hot enough and the bathtub screen cannot block the water. It would be better if it could be improved."

"I rarely leave reviews, but this time I'm exceptionally dissatisfied. First off, finding the room was incredibly difficult. It's a huge, U-shaped building with many entrances, and access to certain areas is restricted due to ongoing construction. Google Maps navigation was no help in locating the correct spot. Moreover, the host provided a six to seven-page, densely packed English document, mixing all sorts of information together, making it hard to pinpoint the crucial details for finding the right place. The entry method for the building was also very peculiar, requiring various passcodes and phone calls. If you don't have international roaming, you can't even get into the apartment. We spent nearly an hour in the light rain just to get inside. Looking at other reviews, you'll see many people also reported great difficulty in finding the location. The rules inside the apartment were also strange. To save electricity, the air conditioning couldn't go below 21 degrees Celsius, and we weren't allowed to wear shoes. The indoor stairs were metal, which made them icy cold and uncomfortable. Walking barefoot in the bathroom also posed a high risk of slipping. And then there was something even more disgusting: there was uncleaned feces under the toilet seat."

"Good, centrally located hotel which is on the airport bus route (29) with a stop directly outside. Mixed bag of rooms - high floors at the back have a view of the impressive white domed St Michael’s church whilst others look out onto a central courtyard/terrece. Service was efficient but not particularly friendly. Hotel is used by airline crew and health tourists (lots of people on crutches). Breakfast had plenty of choices but geared towards Eastern European palate: cold herring. Salads etc. All in all it was a good stay."

"Magnificent location, part of a Baroque monastery built by an Italian architect in the 17th century, boasting the finest Baroque architecture in Lithuania. The Baroque common rooms feature tastefully decorated stucco ceilings. The manager is very friendly and, as the best sommelier in Lithuania, passionate about her work and wine. We had the smallest rooms upstairs, which were very comfortable. We stayed two nights in this timeless haven and have wonderful memories of it. The breakfast was exceptional, served plated in three courses. Dinner is absolutely remarkable (see review in the restaurant section), and the wine pairing menu is an experience not to be missed. A little piece of Italy in Lithuania—congratulations!"

"A very disappointing and dishonest experience. We booked this hotel around six months in advance for 3 adults and a small baby, as we were planning to stay in Kaunas during the Pitbull concert. A week before the concert, I specifically called the hotel to make sure everything was fine and that our reservation was confirmed. I was clearly told that everything was fine and that the reservation was confirmed. However, on the very last day, when we were already practically on our way to Kaunas, the hotel informed us that they could no longer accommodate us. Instead, they offered us another, cheaper hotel located around 15 km from Kaunas city centre. Before going to the alternative hotel, I called them again specifically to confirm that the new hotel had already been paid for and that we would not have to pay anything ourselves. I was also clearly told that the hotel was paid for and that breakfast was included. When we arrived, we discovered that neither of these things was true. The hotel had not been paid for, and breakfast was not included either. We were travelling with a small baby, which made this last-minute situation particularly stressful. What is most shocking is that we repeatedly called the hotel to verify everything, and each time we were given assurances that everything had been taken care of. The whole situation gives the very strong impression that once the hotel realised our reservation coincided with a major event in Kaunas, they simply decided to cancel our booking and make the room available to someone else at a much higher price. Cancelling a reservation that had been confirmed six months in advance, on the very last day, leaving guests travelling with a small baby practically without accommodation, is completely unprofessional. Even worse, we were repeatedly given information that turned out not to be true. A terrible experience. I would not recommend this hotel."
