Despina Apts by Estia

Despina is a great family run apartments ,with a cocktail bar serving various drinks at competitive prices, it shows sports on the big screen to, the pool is a good size and there are plenty of sunbeds ,with no need to place towels on them , there are plenty of restaurants and bars within close distance too, or if you want snacks with your drinks there's pizza, burgers and chips etc, it's so chilled out I've stayed a few times, have has other travellers solo and couples, they were modernising each apartments bathroom in May, to a high standard,

What a wonderful 2 weeks we had here. The 3 brothers were absolutely amazing and made us feel at home. Ria was fab with her great service in the evening/night. Our room was lovely, especially the bathroom, with its double shower. Can’t wait to return again next Yr

Been to Gouves many times but 1st time at Despina. From the moment we arrived we recieved the warmest welcome which carried on throughout our stay. The lads and their mother should win a hospitality award. Snack bar served lovely freshly made snacks and pool area is spotless clean with many comfy sunloungers ( no sunbed wars here ). Cocktail bar out the front serve amazing cocktails all made with care and is so comfy to sit and people watch 😊 overall I couldn’t recommend Despina highly enough and will 💯 be back. The family who run it are so amazing and charming ❤️

We stayed at Despina for a week in July and had an amazing time. The apartments are traditional, very clean and comfy. The pool is great with plenty of sun beds. There are plenty of restaurants near by for dinner but the bar in the apartments, KonDimAr is also great for evening drinks. All the staff go out of their way to look after you. We made our way through most of the cocktail menu which was excellent!!

Everything about despina is nice , it's not just about the apartments, it's also about the warm welcome you get from the family ,the service you are given, and the whole experience, the pool is good to use ,it's not very large but it's still good to use and there are enough sun loungers too, and no towels on them in the day, if having a chilled day the bar is next to the pool and they do snacks and meals ,if beer isn't what you want there's coffee and tea too, also where despina Is situated there's a restaurant opposite, and if walking towards the beach you will pass by four of five more restaurants that open around 10am until 11/12pm, so a full English breakfast or a meal from fresh salads to big steaks and pastas are on the menus, all at great prices, despina is roughly a 7 minutes walk to the beach ,with more bar/restaurants another couple of minutes away, and a good size supermarket and bakery, if turning left out of despina there's shops and restaurant and a bit further a bakery selling all its own produce , it truly is a great area to stay, the 3 son's and mother make your stay how it should be ,

Could not fault my stay here in July from start to finish. A very warm welcome, lovely environment and the 3 brothers were brilliant hosts and extremely helpful. Would recommended to anyone; couples, families or solo travellers!

Going home tomorrow after a fantastic 2 weeks at despina apartments wonderful laid back place to stay, family run, pina colada highly recommended would definitely advise people to book these apartments

Unfortunately my holiday was curtailed as I spent 3 nights in Hospital (diagnosed with kidney stones). The apartments that I stayed in, when not in Hospital, where the Despina in Gouves. As ever the 3 brothers Aris, Kosta and Dimitri and their Mum were 1st class hosts and I don’t think you could find better hosts in the whole of Greece. Aris even arranged for clothing and goodies to be delivered to me in the hospital. People may think my judgment is clouded, as I have been coming to these apartments for 23 years, believe me it’s not these are 4 very special people. Try them yourselves.

Back home from first time going , recommended from a friend. What can we say !!! This was a fantastic break away , proper relaxing, The 3 Amigos !! The 3 brothers are amazing and will do anything to help and make your stay , your holiday and don’t forgot there mom who is such a delight and doesn’t stop working . All in All a fantastic holiday made by These guys deffo going to return x
