I didn’t not enjoy the food as the potion is very small and the hotel is far from other restraunts I was dissapointed and decided to book other place wastage of money The hotels around this areas should do so much better as hotels are far from other areas and you can’t get food somwhere else they should definately consider their guest

Отличный отель! Расположение шикарное, рядом с океаном, есть своя территория с шезлонгами, территория охраняется. Очень удобное расположение - недалеко остров Mnemba, до Nungwi полчаса езды, до Matemwe, где много магазинов, полчаса пешком. Номера красивые, чистое пастельное белье, кондиционер, в ванной горячая вода круглосуточно. Еда в ресторане очень вкусная, порции хорошие. Персонал доброжелательный. Хотелось бы поблагодарить менеджеров отеля Maurice и Munisi за отличную работу и спасибо за отличный отдых!

The Manager (Maurizio) and his staff were so chilled, flexible, friendly, and accommodating to our large group. My wife & I had the Harusi Room #6 upstairs and it was very nice, with a fan and AC, a safe for valuables, and with a great view looking east over the Indian Ocean. The bathrooms were all stocked with high-quality shampoos & body wash by Zuri Botanicals. The food was top notch with a variety of choices for both breakfast & dinner (we were on half-board). Our first day they gave us a great deal on lunch for everyone with competitive prices so we didn't have to go out looking for a restaurant that was open in the heat of the day. The pool is small, but adequate and you can't beat the view. The waiters were very good, taking a large # of orders and getting them all correct and the food all came out at the same time. We liked everything we tried and I loved the soups! We went on a dolphin tour / snorkeling trip our last morning that did not disappoint, although there were only 2 or 3 other boats out there. If it's busy, you may want to reconsider & look at reviews online on Google maps, as I'm sure it can get quite hectic and even unsafe for swimmers & snorkelers as they try to jump in with the dolphins. The snorkeling was so-so, but no fault of the hotel's. We did not spend very long there as we'd gotten up at 6:00 am, left at 6:20, and were back at the hotel by 9:30 in time for breakfast, but the water out there was incredibly clear and there was a decent variety of fish & corals. I will add that perhaps due to the season, there was a lot of sea**** on the beach and also in the shallow water, and be careful of sea urchins not too far out - either bring proper reef shoes or only go out a few meters unless you are swimming (it was also not Spring tides / full moon or new moon so water levels didn't change much between tides). Sadly, this is a reflection of overfishing and something would have to be done that was community-led to reverse the ecological imbalance. That being said, I did swim / walk occasionally all the way out to the reef & breakers (about 600 m?), then swam out beyond to the deeper corals and out there I did not see many sea urchins past the reef. Inside the reef there were lots of urchins, but also a good variety of small fish and the coral looked fairly healthy.

Thanks a lot for lovely one week holiday in Zanzibar and specially thanks to the best manager Maurizio. And The staff ware kind and helpfull. Breakfast was every day so good. Swimming pool so nice near beach. Room every day clean. Place like a small real Africa with childrens playing on The beach.

Beautiful serene property in a very quite part of the island. The vibe is awesome. The service is reallt great. The food at the property is delicious. Maurizio, the manager is very hands on and went out of his way to look after us.

The stay was absolutely lovely. The nicest staff and the yummiest food! The rooms are beautiful and service impeccable. The only thing I would recommend would be to have one fan above the bed since the rooms are huge. This isn’t too major cause everything else was amazing!

Spend 2 nights at this incredible facility with a family of 12 including children. The view from the rooms is incredible, the beach is clean and accessible and the staff were very courteous. Also had the opportunity to chat with the General Manager Maurizio who shared his vision on uplifting the property in the near future. Exciting to go back and see the enhancements. Highly recommend this place

My partner and I, stayed here for 10days. It was such a lovely hotel, our rooms were so spacious, made us feel like we were home. The views from the big wide balcony were just so beautiful, we would seat outside, listen to music while watching the stars and the moon, the beach waves was just what we needed to hear before bed. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The manager was just lovely welcoming and engaging with customers. Most of all the food was the best we had in Zanzibar, we tried other restaurants but not up to scratch. We decided to only eat at the hotel lunch and dinner. If you like a quiet place with a beach front, not noisy and not too busy this is the place. You can commute by car to other beaches and places outside the hotel but sometimes you just want to relax at the hotel by the beach. You can learn kite surfing outside the hotel and arrange other activities as we did from the hotel We miss it already. Do not look nowhere else

Jafferji Beach Retreat is the best place to feel at home in Zanzibar. Cosy venue, delightful staff (most of them from the nearby village), stunning beach near the corral reef with views on Mnemba Island. Very close to snorkling spots and attol sandbanks (need to hire a boat) - THE FOOD IS VERY GOOD, served generously and the menu changes everyday depending on the catch of the day. Also the entire menu is reasonnably priced USD3 for a pint, USD 5 for a Caïpirinha or USD 14 for an entire grilled Octupus. Bargain. Withlist Zanzibar is SAFE, there has never been any safety issue, and the Massaï guards are also very friendly!
