Alladin Boutique Beach Hotel and Spa Zanzibar

Leigh met us at the door with a smile and a staff member showed us around the resort. Anything we needed they made sure we had. They arranged our excursions and everything went without a hitch. The food was fantastic and everyone always had a smile on their face. Customer service the way it was meant to be.

The Aladdin Beach Hotel is a jewel. It is a small hotel which is our preferred style. Located right on the beach with most rooms looking directly out onto the Indian Ocean and the local fishing fleet. The morning hustle and bustle was fascinating and the returning local catch captivating. The hotel provides on beach lounges, pool side lounges and nice shady places to sit with coffee after breakfast or a sunset cocktail. So what makes a place like this stand out amongst the many similar hotels in the area. Firstly the staff. They are wonderful. We put it down in equal measures to the natural Tanzanian way and the hotel manager, Lee, who just knows through years of experience how to create that special something that can’t be shown on line or via a brochure. Secondly, the food. For a small hotel, they punch well above their weight on this front with an amazing menu, presentation and taste to equal any large hotel. In fact they far exceed most. It is not easy to say what sets this boutique hotel apart from other places and made for a truly amazing stay. The location, rooms and gardens are stunning, so nice to relax in the gardens bursting with beautiful trees and hibiscus flowers. The staff and service are outstanding and nothing was too much for Leagh and her charming team who genuinely wanted to make your stay with them at Alladin unforgettable.. from soothing my son’s sunburn with aloe from the garden to prising out sea urchin needles. The view was fantastic.. and we loved the changing colours as the tide came in or went out. We have travelled a lot among beautiful tropical islands but did not expect this spectacular beach with superfine white sand, coconut trees and beautiful colours we shared pretty much only with a few locals. A truly special place.

This Hotel is unique because of the location, the atmosphere and most important the staff. Everyone is very warmhearted and tries to fulfill every single one of your wishes. We can only praise the amazing cleanliness, service and the delicious food served at Alladin. Down to the last detail, everything was perfect. We want to say asante sana to everyone at Alladin and especially the manager. If you wanna experience paradise on earth, come to Alladin Zanzibar!

This is a new built hotel right on the beach with african boutique design. The area around is among local people and few other smaller hotels. You can feel the present of Zanzibar real life just walk 10 meters from hotel.  Its a safe area. Of course you will get contacted by the masai and salesmen as anyware in the tourist area. But they also let you go if you are not interested. Me and my wife can really recommend you to go here. Why? Calm and friendly athmosphere. Well trained staff. Meet happy local people. Nice pool. Really good restaurang with reasonable price 10-16 dollar. Nice new room with fan and AC. Good cleaning everywhere. Good sunbeds, both on the beach and poolside. Free water during stay, really appreciated that. Nearby there are some good lunch places like ChiChi.  Dinner at the hotel are at reasonable  prices and very tasty. Great job, chef and staff. Breakfast is meeting all your needs, even including different choices like omelett etc. Great coffee aswell. Hotel offers tours, but we went to Mnemba Island by local guide for halfday incl lunch. Price on the beach 35-50 dollar ppx. for private boat. We swimmed with dolphins! Make that tour to Mnemba while you on the eastcoast.  Hotel offers taxi from airport, 45 dollar. Local alternatives are also available to cheeper price. Best regards to staff and management, who has succeeded to make our stay so fantastic. Any inprovements? As in Africa, wifi is poor. During morning you got 3 mb down and in the evening 0.4 mb. You can surf, but no video/livestream. Thats it. Just go here if you want calm, relaxing holiday! We loved the place

After an upsetting experience at another hotel, we came across Alladin where we decided to book for the rest of our stay. From the checking in, room tour, service of the staff, the food, everything was fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back when we next visit Zanzibar. Nicee one of the staff members was so cheerful and always had a smile on her face, along with the rest of the staff. The food was delicious along with the room service, comfortable bed, amazing shower to name a few. Highly recommend this place. All the staff are so friendly and happy to help at all times. Thank you for making our stay so memorable :)

Best place on Zanzibar. We spent a few nights in this hotel. The hotel is small and it was very quiet. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean and cleaned twice a day. The meals were very tasty and the service fulfilled all our requests. Nice time. We are very pleased with the stay.

During February 22 I had the pleasure to spend one week @ Alladin hotel together with my family and a group of friends. From the beginning we have been greeted by the owner and staff with cold drinks and towels to refresh. This place is brand new, open few months ago and truly stand out as a boutique hotel right on the beach. We had the feeling that we have entire place for ourselves and staff was there to accommodate whatever we desire as far as food or drinks. Now regarding food, simply outstanding, we tried different places/ restaurants on the island however Alladin chef was by far the best, literally fresh fish from the ocean and fresh fruits from the farms. One night we wanted to experience Zanzibar traditional food besides fish and sea food and The mix of different spices made the food so tasty that it was hard to stop eating. Kudos to Peter ( owner ) and entire staff as well as to the real Maasai people that we’re making sure nobody will bother us even though it’s a really safe place. Looking forward to returning soon.

Very nice hotel just next to the beach. The beach is very pretty and there is small local village which you can visit near by. Everything was really great about this place. Very lovely staff members, especially Khamis, the restaurant and bar supervisor. We'd loved to return there once again:)
