部屋のテレビのリモコンの調子が悪く、対応してくれた、スタッフの対応がイマイチでした。 ランクを上げた部屋にチェンジして貰いましたが、 スタッフの対応の悪さにはがっかりでした。

ホテルに到着したのが早かったので車を駐車させて貰い、荷物も預かって貰いました。軽井沢銀座をブラブラして歩き疲れて帰って来てもチェックインには少し早くラウンジでお茶が飲みたいと申したところわざわざご案内して戴きました。でもチェックインの際にウェルカムドリンクは如何いたしますか？って聞かれて、一瞬…はっ！と疑問符…先にウェルカムドリンクがあるのを言って欲しかったです。部屋はアップグレードして戴き感謝しました。部屋に入ると全てがエクセレント！清掃も行き届いてますし、部屋も充分に広くベッドの質もかなり良いです。ハード面は最高です。しかし朝食の食材、味付けは改良の余地あり、ダイニングのサービスはファミレスレベルでした。マンパワーのアップを期待しております。また宿泊させていただきます。お世話になりました。ありがとうございました。

Le Grand Kyu Karuizawa offers a complete package in terms of access, room comfort, facilities, and amenities. The property is about 1km from the train station, which connects directly to Karuizawa Prince Outlet Mall and, next to it, the ski slope. The building is either new or recently and comprehensively renovated so as to be indistinguishible from being new. The guest room is palatial by Japan's standard. I have stayed in a Japanese hotel that is barely larger than Le Grande's bath room. The room is tastefully kitted and very comfortable. The breakfast spread is great and the onsen is simply sublime. The onsen features separate male/female sections and both men an women sides have both indoor and outdoor pools. Le Grand Kyu isn't a bargain in the absolute sense. It is in fact on the pricier side. But compared with similar offerings in the vicinity, you could do a lot worse than Le Grande Kyu Karuizawa. If you are looking for a comfortable night after a long day on the slope, or exhaustive day shopping at the nearby outlet mall, the hotel doesn't disappoint. It certainly will be my first choice the next time my family and I visit Karuizawa.

We stayed here for two nights. Check in was at 3pm and we arrived around 12pm, but there was no early check in. As we waited for our room, we were given welcome drinks. We booked a large double room, which had two queen size beds; a sitting table with two chairs; a TV and large cabinet; and wardrobe. There was an Apple TV, which is useful to people who subscribe to those services. However, it didn’t work so they had to replace it with another unit. The room had a large bathroom, with a separate tub and shower cubicle, toilet unit and sizeable sink area. The toilet is a modern Japanese one with various functions you can press that will make more of a mess if you don’t understand the language. We did not use the shower and bath as we used their public spa facilities. The spa is on the top (2nd floor) and includes hot bath and shower facilities as usual in these places. There is also an outdoor bath as well. They have the usual amenities. The hotel is walking distance from Karuizawa Station but could be difficult if you have heavy luggage. There is limited to no transport choices given by this hotel (could be the norm in Japan). They do a buffet breakfast that had hot Western and Japanese food (also Chinese Siu Mai as well). Western food was scrambled eggs and small sausages. There are pastries and fruit as well so there’s enough food for a sufficient meal. Overall a good stay was had. Hotel is nice and room was clean. The staff are friendly enough, if English levels were of varying standard.

外観は軽井沢の街並みにマッチしていて、高級感があり素敵でした。只、ホテルの中が慣れないと迷路のよう・・・。で、迷いそうになる。立地はとても良い！旧軽井沢通りまで直ぐ出し、ホテルの食事を付けなくても歩いて3分位の所にベーカリー沢村があるので好きなパンと飲み物で美味しい朝食が食べれます。部屋も自分が泊まった部屋は中々広く開放的でした!只、洗面所に拡大鏡が無かったり、椅子もない！あったら最高に快適だったかも！アウトレットにも車でほんの数分なのでお薦めホテルです！

２泊デラックスダブルルームを利用しました。部屋も広く清潔でした。朝食付きのプランで、朝食はビュッフェスタイルですが、各料理も特に注文をつけるような点はありませんでした。旧軽銀座にも近く、朝の散歩にも便利なロケーションです。夕食は外でいただきましたが、外ディナーも歩いて行ける場所にあります。レンタサイクルで兼行するにも便利な場所です。

従業員の応対、ホテルの綺麗さ、食事の美味しさ、24:00まで入れる温泉（露天風呂あり）などどれをとっても最高だった。当たり前だがビジネスホテルとは比にならない。 夫婦で初訪問。軽井沢の主要観光スポットに行きやすい立地にあり、旅の拠点として申し分ない。 幹線道路沿いのため、奥まった厳かな雰囲気ではないが、一歩ホテルに入れば西洋的なエントランス、落ち着いた雰囲気となる。 参考になればと思うため、他の口コミで事実と異なる部分のみ列記しようと思う。 ・朝食（ブッフェ）のメニューが同じで飽きる。 2泊では全く感じなかった。むしろ全てのメニューを食べきれなかったくらい。非常に美味しかった。 ・露天風呂に落ち葉と虫が浮いていた。 これは露天風呂なら当たり前。むしろ綺麗に清掃されていたと思う。唯一気になったのは浴槽に立ち上がった時に頭に触れる高さの枝や葉は切り落として欲しいとは感じた。 ・駐車場が狭い。 普段どれだけ広い駐車場を使ってるんですか…と思う。 建物内にビルトインするタイプの駐車場なので狭く感じるだけだと思う。 一台当たりの区画も狭くなく、切り返しも全く問題なく出来る。 ・カトラリーがアルミで傷だらけ オールステンレスでブランドものだった。繰り返し使用しているカトラリーの傷は当たり前。確かに、そろそろ替えてもいいかも？というカトラリーがあったことは事実。 口コミは正しく書いて欲しいもの。 本当に宿泊したのか疑わしい口コミが多かったのでホテルが不憫に感じる。
