Rhotia Valley Tented Lodge and Children's Home

We had an amazing stay here for our honeymoon! The staff really made us feel special and welcome, with a gorgeous room with flowers on the bed and each night a different flower display on the dinner table. We had an amazing nights sleep in the comfortable beds that they had put hot water bottles under the covers as the night was a bit chilly when we arrived. The bath tub on the balcony was also amazing with the views. The food was great with a range of choices each night and tasted lovely. They also were very accommodating to the fact my husband is gluten free. They made him special pancakes in the morning and then gluten free bread with soup at dinner. We loved our stay and would recommend this place!

We stayed 2 nights, one in the simple tent and one in the honeymoon suite. Both were great. Nice views. Most friendly people working there. Amazing food. The way up there is quite bumpy and off the path. If you want a special escape, go there. Plan to spend some time there and visit the village and the children Unfortunately, we did not.

Our lodge stay was fantastic! The staff were super friendly, and the views were amazing. Plus, the food was amazing. Apart from that i really apreciated the visit to the childrens home they support ,very nice project giving back to the community.

We had one night at the lodge and enjoyed everything but the tent. It was rather small and outdated. There was no mosquito net around the bed and there were plenty insects inside (my wife did not really enjoy that) Nevertheless, the welcome gesture of decorating our bed with a honeymoon decoration and the extra attention at the dinner has impressed us and we appreciated it a lot. The dinner was also delicious and the staff very friendly ☺️

Our stay at Rhotia Valley Tented Lodge was excellent. The staff is so friendly and the service was great. We were surprised to have warm jugs in our bed after dinner. Because the location of the tented lodge is on a mountain, the air is a bit cooler. Specially at night it can be cool. The warm jugs were a pleasant welcome.

The room was a mix between a tent and a cabin. Immaculately clean and very comfortable. We had great vuews ocer the calley. The pool was snall but nice and clean. The staff was friendly and flexible. We wanted some bites with our afternoon drinks. They had nothing like that on the nenu, but made us some banana chips

Beautiful place, marvellous garden with tropical flowers, super friendly staff! Diner was great in a cosy restaurant with a fireplace. We visited the children’s home, which is sponsored by this lodge. We’d love to come back! Thank you very much for our amazing experience!

We stayed here during a safari this month to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The lodge and tents are all amazingly luxurious considering the location which is quite literally in the middle of nowhere. We were made to feel very welcome and the food and amenities were all excellent. We also visited the nearby childrens home which the camp supports which was a wonderfully humbling experience. Very worthwhile but you will find yourself wanting to take some of the children home with you! They are so polite and happy and an absolute credit to the helpers who are raising them, often after very difficult beginnings. We would highly recommend this camp.

Our experience was excellent. The staff were great and there was excellent service and food. The staff were wonderful and especially good with children. The views were wonderful. The new rooms are special and having a bath outside was unique.
