Hotel is good, clean with spacious rooms and amazing sea views. The location is very near to the temple and beach

The manager was rude. Initially the room given to us was a balcony room but the commode flush was not working so we had to change the room. The next room was much smaller and the manager was arguing with us when we mentioned about the size of the room. Without fixing the toilet why do they give the room?
rest of it was okay. The location is very close to the beach and temple. All of it is within walking distance
you can watch the sunrise or sunset from the hotel itself as it has a good view from the terrace

The property location is not up to the mark according to the price and other available competitors in the city, rooms were spacious and the bathroom was also good and spacious but there was a very bad smell in both rooms. Overall it was not up to the mark but not also below the mark.

Best part was the proximity to the main attractions (amman temple, swami vivekananda memorial and tiruvallvur statue) ! walkable distance to the eateries and shopping destinations !

Room is quite spacious and location is at walkable distance to all the tourist attractions however the property is old and need maintenance. Saw cockroaches in room and bathroom.

We had 2 rooms, one of which was with sea view. Hotel had open terrace- good for watching sun rise. Restaurant was not open during our stay and on demand room service was also a major issue.

My stay at chithra hotel was excellent, the staff were incredibly friendly and alternative, room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities exceeded my expectations, especially the morning sunrise view from the terrace garden.
