Manor Estate

We waited for over an hour even though we had booked the cheese platter was brought out after we had finished the wine tasting . Ordered a seafood platter which was from Cole’s. We were given a voucher for Xmas and unfortunately we were very disappointed. We will never return.

Recently stayed and loved all about the property and service. Clean attractive modern classic and very peaceful and relaxing which was just what we needed. would fully recommend to see for you self this property is only getting better with all the improvements going on. In addition the combination of accommodation cellar door and functions areas make it an exciting stay all round. We loved our stay.

Terrible customer service, and extremely poorly maintained property. The back of the property was a construction site (with no warning signs or cordoned off areas), and the lounge room felt damp, had a major leak from a hole in the ceiling, and what appeared to be mouse droppings on the carpet. The bathroom was also very dirty, and the sink leaked.

Surprising boutique resort in Mclaren vale just beautiful top up on relaxation food and wine! Set on acres with terraced lawns stunning manor house and charming reception and cellar door area. Our stay included accommodation in the a beautiful room with fireplace spotless bathrooms and beautiful garden views a stint in the cellar door including a tasting of some great wines and interesting conversations from the staff. We found it great value and will be back. Recommendation *****

Spent the night over and attended the cellar door. Fabulous wines, lovely service and great a**osphere. I highly recommend spending a getaway there spending an afternoon in the Secret Wine Garden great "simple, local, fresh" foods whilst listening to the acoustic sounds of a live guitarist then stroll back to the room for an indulgence spa and recovery!!

Attended a family and friends function booked the whole place and had an event in the secret wine garden. We found the accommodation beautifully upmarket, sparkling clean bathrooms and the gardens that just spoke for them selves...amazing. The whole a**osphere and staff were down to earth, friendly and very accommodating to all our needs. Usually with wines we have our favourites but the wines tasted all were delicious which is something Manor Estate Wines should be proud of including their other awards and international success. Truely something others may find envious but to us Manor Estate is a true gem hidden away in McLaren Vale. Checkout the place and awesome wines!!

Read only bona fide reviewers - those who have posted more than 10 times, You will have to scroll through many to find any!! The bathroom window was held open with a block of wood. The spa water was brown. It was like Fawlty towers! Owner was rude, Breakfast was basic, room was cold.

Save your money!!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!! This place is run-down and dirty. The provisions hardly covered 1 person . We were told to check in at 4pm but still had to wait for a hour for wood for the fire. We had 2 towels and 1 face washer to share. One bar of soap and a small shampoo and conditioner( like what you would get from a road house). I had to clean spills of the wall in the kitchen, and there was no tea towel, detergent or kitchen sponge, mice had eaten through one of the 5 teabags, and the small amount of instant coffee they left looked like old cheap coffee- we had to RACE out to grab more supplies before 5pm. ...Not very romantic 🙄 and not what you would expected from 'luxury' accommodation at that price range! The fresh flowers they said they would provide were 4 small bruised roses from the garden, and the chocolates on arrival were 2 lindt balls-- a pathetic effort for $360 a night!! The continental breakfast had 1 peice of fruit - a pear to share, no juice . Disappointing When we mentioned the wood to Peter Cap when we arrived, he said ' there is only one of me' ... yes Peter, but there are 7 days in the week , and plenty of time before 4pm to get the room ready!! NEEDS TO IMPROVE !! -poor toiletries - poor breakfast -pathetic flowers and chocolates on arrival -not enough Linen supplied -cheep and dirty tea and coffee provisions -- clean the junk and mess in 'garden' -unclean room

Secret garden event on a warm Adelaide afternoon was our choice of celebrating the new year instead of the usual NYE party scene. Fabulous afternoon with lovely food, awesome music and hospitality. Recommended to anyone looking for a chill afternoon session with great wine and food.
