we check in late due to our early trip to the death railway. easy check in system, you just need to see the owner and can directly check in to the room. room is huge, bathroom is clean. has refrigerator too. locationwise, walkable to the night market and to the Kanchanaburi train station. from Kanchanaburi train station you have to cross the road and walk a little bit deeper to the shops area and small alley. however to go to the bus station, you might need to take grab because its about 2-3km distance.

Friendly owner and location is near to Kanchanaburi Rail Station. Basic and big room with fridge as well.

Mooi klein Guesthouse, dichtbij de ere begraafplaats. Tussen het busstation en de River Kwai bridge in. Eigenaar was behulpzaam met Tours boeken, maar ivm de enorme regenval kon de tocht naar erawan niet doorgaan (park was gesloten) Verder geen Tours geboekt bij Guesthouse.

I’m honestly surprised with these reviews. It’s quaint and has some Thai charm but that’s it. Perhaps it’s because it’s so quiet ? I had barely a welcome. I asked about booking a tour or driver and was met with confusion. Annoying because I had messaged them before my arrival about whether to book in advance or with them. I was shown to my room then reception closed up, which was after I realised I had no wifi information. I’m sure I was the only guest and put in the worst room at the back near the toilets, pans & cleaning stuff. It was dark and depressing and full of mosquitoes. It was hot, the fridge & air-con were off. There was no security as the windows didn’t lock but you couldn’t have them open either for light because of the mosquitoes. I persevered for an hour but still no one surfaced to discuss these issues, so I cut my losses and moved on.

This is a wonderful guest house amongst the hustle and bustle. Owners were lovely and helpful, making us feel most welcome within what felt like an extension of their home. Situated conveniently for the local amenities and the main tourist attractions of the area. The owners were also happy to arrange transport for us at short notice to Erewan Falls saving us time in a busy schedule. Unfortunately only had one night but when next visiting this area would stay again based on it being an excellent base to explore the area.

It's a nice simple family run guesthouse. The rooms were nice and clean with comfortable beds. Noticed that in older reviews people mentioned that there was no hair dryer, well now the rooms do have a hair dryer. Breakfast was simple but good . The owner was very nice and helpful. Good value for money. Convenient location. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Das Siam Guesthouse in Kanchanaburi ist hervorragend, insbesondere auch für Familien! Wir hatten für uns (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder von 6 und 4 Jahren) zwei Zimmer mit Verbindungstür gebucht. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig (positiv) und sehr sauber. Vor allem toll ist die Lage: einerseits weil es sehr ruhig und grün ist, andererseits, weil es sehr zentral gelegen ist. So kann man zu Fuss zum tollen Restaurant Zab Zab oder zum Nacht-Markt. Das beste ist die Betreiber-Familie: Alle sind sehr herzlich, kümmern sich gut, sprechen gut Englisch, helfen bei Fragen/Wünschen und sind immer sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank! Diese Unterkunft ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen, insbesondere auch für Familien!
