It was indeed a fun filled family weekend at Avani Kaluthara. A hartwell thank to all staff. Wonderful and memorable hospitality extended to us. Rooms are OK and enjoying stay. Nice location with good people. Appreciate it. I would like to come again

The rooms are nice, reasonably designed, big enough, and comfortable. The hotel is one hour away from Colombo and the traffic is convenient. He was also sung by foreigners and sang karaoke, only English songs. The hotel itself is beautiful and large, like a large park with the sea on one side and the lake on the other. The garden view room we booked was upgraded to pool view. This is very bad and very noisy! Did not sleep well for two days! In the morning, the crows are meeting! In the afternoon, there are all kinds of chair pulling sounds, and in the evening it is even more terrible. Crows of crows gather by the pool and take a bath in the pool! If you want to live, it is best to book a sea view room! There is also a swimming pool over there. The sea water is very good, but it is also very wavy. Initial experience wasn’t great at check-in, as the staff wasn’t giving accurate information about dinner prices, and wasn’t very friendly. There were also a few issues in the room. But the front desk was able to coordinate with their internal house keeping and engineering team to solve the problems. We were happy with their services in the end.

This is a good hotel, but it is a bad location

We stayed at one of the most renowned and historic beach hotels in the Kalutara area for our honeymoon. The experience was memorable, especially when they kindly allowed us to use the hotel premises for our homecoming shoot at no extra charge. The room was spacious, and the views from the balcony were absolutely breathtaking. The washrooms were clean and well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, the Wi-Fi was disappointingly slow, and many of the TV channels were not functioning. Sadly, the buffet was a major letdown. The food lacked flavor and variety, making it a stark contrast to our previous visit, where the dining experience had been far better. Despite some drawbacks, the overall atmosphere and location still made it a noteworthy stay.

The menu is very rich. I felt very comfortable. It was late at night, but check-in was smooth. I think it is very beautiful and easy to spend.
