Patara Prince Hotel & Resort - Special Category

I really liked my room in the same building where the hotel reception is located. Mr. Mahmut Yanat working at the reception is a really long-winded man. Thank you for him that! He made my stay successful by helping me to get a nice room only for one night stay. Also there was a nice, helpful and friendly man working for example helping with parking. The breakfast was a little bit letdown: very simple. And the working people clothing was a little bit too relaxed.

I was really disappointed. I will never go again!!!. I get massages all the time and they did not give a real massage experience. The massage person was young and very inexperienced. Didn’t have a clue about massage,The massage time was less than stated. Also, there was no soap scrub in the bath.

Absolutely lovely hotel .11 out of ten.Very good value,amazing beach ,amazing restaurant ,amazing staff and amazing everything which you can think about it.One of the best hotels I ever stay.Good job!

Great sauna and massage. Lovely views all very calming. Great staff. Collected and returned from our hotel. Without doubt the best way to start the holiday. Well worth a visit and certainly better than others we have tried for much the same cost.

Ailecek 1 haftalık güzel bir tatil geçirdik..çalışanlar sıcakkanlı ve yardımsever.. Odalar hijyenik ve temiz..Kalkan merkez e kaputaş plajına yakın.. alttaki havuzlar deniz suyundan üstte ise tatlı su şeklinde tercih sizin.. otel içi servis ile üstteki odalardan denize havuza ulaşabiliyorsunuz.

Booked a room with a bath through RCI only to be given a room with just a shower. Reported issue to reception where the attitude of the azs mgr was appalling. He was rude, arrogant and did not want to help us saying we should contact RCI to resolve. Both RCI and patara prince hotel websites clearly state the room came with a bath. They tried to charge more to have a room with a bath disgusting

This resort is built on a very steep hill, I am reasonably fit but the walk from sea to security gate or shop at the top is unbelievably challenging. There is a courtesy bus but often it is full. Sometimes my family don’t want to eat out after a full day of activities and last night we ordered food from 2 different companies using the Villa Eats App (like Deliveroo) and the hotel refused to let them in. We went to reception and asked them to let them in and they refused!! My poor husband had to walk up that massive hill (10 mins) back down (ten mins) then do it again when the 2nd arrived. In response to my request to let them in reception sent me a menu to the restaurant downstairs, which is overpriced and average. We are staying at a privately rented villa (AirBnb) which is amazing but Patara Prince is not somewhere I would stay again. The staff do not speak any English, not in the restaurant, reception or security. The boat that can run you into town is currently broken. They did not put up any notices so my family waited 20 mins in the heat and nothing arrived. Only after walking up 100’s steps back up to reception did we eventually figure out it was not coming. A simple sign in reception or by the pick up point would have been helpful. The only day we have spent on the resort was marred by the fact that my son and I were injured by a very heavy umbrella that snapped at the base, where the poles enter the concrete floor, it’s considerable weight fell on the back of my legs causing bruising and the wooden umbrella caused a deep scratch to my sons knee. Overall we have had an amazing holiday, Kalkan is certainly the best place we have stayed in Turkey and we have previously visited Marmaris, Kusadasi and Antalia. The views from our Villa are beautiful and thankfully a taxi into town only costs £2.50.

This is our second visit to patara prince, we have stayed on both a private villa and the hotel. The resort is beautiful, lots of steps but there is a mini bus running up and down the resort all day. The villa we stayed in was lovely, wifi was brilliant and air con working. The hotel could do with a little spruce, our air con did work but a bit noisy, no wifi at all in the room. But there is wifi available at the restaurant and the cafe (we were able to use wifi by the main pool too) showers were great too Staff - the cafe staff are amazing, so great with the children, made you feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for us. Shame the same can’t really be said for the front of house, they weren’t massively helpful and seemed to be quite unhappy. They did however let us use the spa showers on our last day (early checkout, late flight) The main pool is great, not overly busy but salt water which the kids weren’t fond of. I highly recommend the shuttle bus and getting a lift to the top of the resort where you will find a lovely pool, freshwater with a slide and always very quiet (almost private) The food was great and reasonably priced. We would 100% return but would only hire a private villa, better value and better amenities.

Don’t normally take time to leave negative reviews, on this occasion it reached the required level.Whilst I accept that the season for Tourists begins in May, we visited as resort guests in April.I’m at a complete loss to understand the bored Receptionist’s “Gollum” like protection of the WiFi Password which is supposedly available to all resort guests, particularly when the Restaurants and Bars of Kalkan make it freely available available.Bizarre bearing in mind the usual Turkish hospitality.
