No air conditioning OR fan! Went to bed to the sound of very LOUD, live disco music from the pool area. I complained repeatedly but ended up having to use ear plugs, hold the pillow over my ear, and eventually take a sleeping pill. In the morning, unbelievably, I woke to loud construction noise as they were erecting scaffolding for renovations right across the hall from my bedroom door. Then they let it be known that they had fumigation of the entire hotel (including the beds) at 10AM. I made sure to get out of there before that.

Quartos bem limpos, ambiente bem agradável. Foram ótimas noites de descanso. Na minha despedida, eu não poderia deixar de agradecer e de comentar, a bela surpresa onde fui presenteado com um delicioso bolo.

Great 👍 team,Great service, Kakamega Golf Hotel is a place to be,quiet environment, Good reception, top notch service all the way to the rooms. This is the place to be while visiting the region. Not forgetting the cuisine, especially the kienyeji chicken Thank you Zilpah and Miriam, for going out of your way and being available ALL the time and every time.

Amazing customer service. Benard Omondi was especially very resourceful and supportive to the team with exceptionally quick response during the conference. The whole team was just amazing, courteous and kind. Keep up with the good work!

We received warm hospitality form Madam Zilpah, she was always available and promptly addressed all concerns raised. She made our 5 days workshop enjoyable by ensuring the conference room was spacious with excellent wifi. Meals were sumptuous and on time. I would choose Golf hotel anytime i am in Kakamega Thank you all Staff of Golf Hotel, keep up the good work

1.Freshness of the food need to be looked into.Limited food options to choose from.. 2.When you serve late,you are likely to have very minimal food options are majority will have been finished. 3.Some few staff have I don’t care attitude and are insensitive. 4,Sometimes you feel the smell of dust on the bed sheets thus make one to sneeze a lot. 5.Security guards to stop asking customers for stipends/money.

Collins served me well. The baristas service is topnotch and has great hospitality skills. I would recommend anyone. Golf hotel had been the leading hotel in western region and I don't remember the time I came home and failed to come by this place.

I absolutely loved my time at the Golf Hotel. The staff were all so helpful and very friendly. John cleaned our room everyday and he was always smiling and helpful and went the extra mile. The chef was also so happy and friendly and made us an omelette every morning. I stayed here for one week, so really got a chance to get to know the staff. Every morning we enjoyed a walk around the grounds, and felt totally safe. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. Overall, I would recommend staying here. We stayed in a group of adults and had several rooms. I would feel comfortable bringing my kids here as well. I loved Kenya and my time in Kakamega, and this hotel was a big part of my enjoyment.

It was a great experience staying at the Goof Hotel. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful from beginning to end. The rooms were very clean and taken care of each day. It was a plus they were take care of and return laundry each day. Will return whenever I come back.
