Stayed in Rurikoh for 3 nights. I have to say this hotel is quite popular with tour groups and most of them stay here on their way to see Central Japan. The hotel is a bit dated but still clean. All things are large here to accommodate the big crowds - ie Conference rooms, lounges, hotel lobby and restaurants and even the Public Onsen is large. We stayed here to experience the onsens and were not disappointed. There is one indoor + outdoor Public bath, and one private bath. We didn’t try the private one as its chargeable, so we went to the public one only. By staying in Rurikoh, we can even go to the sister hotel, Hatori, to experience their onsen baths there. There are 2 public baths there and many private ones. When we compare the 2 onsen baths, we find that Hatori’s is newer but smaller. Rurikoh’s has its charms and I am sure it used to be the best in the 80’s. Rurikoh has the larger bath and when crowded, you don’t see much of other bathers. As for the room, it is rather dated. We booked the twin room, western style Type A and it was large for Japan Standards. We didn’t take the meals options as there are plenty of Izakayas and restaurants if you drive around. Most restaurants charge less for food and if you dont mind driving around instead of eating in the hotel, you can save quite a fair bit. As for amenities, the hotel is very generous with things like onsen towels, use of Yukatas, water moisturisers, plentiful of toothbrushes and combs. As for the service, staff here are very courteous and they speak English well. One good point with the service is that they will park your car for you and bring it to the front every morning without you even asking. Overall, for the price that we paid and the service and amenities that we got, i would give this a 4star.

A well located ryokan (5 minutes walk from the town centre) that has multiple indoor and outdoor public hot springs as well as private hot springs you can book for an extra fee. While the building is modern, being a ryokan. the room I stayed in was furnished in a traditional Japanese style with tatami, fusama, shoji and even a tokonoma (though I suspect all rooms are like this). The facilities and extras Hatori offers (bar, bookable cafe, karaoke room, free taiko performance and free ice cream nightly) were really nice touches. What made my stay most enjoyable however were the delicious dinners (make sure to book your meals in you stay plan you wont regret it!) and staff. While only a little English was spoken all the staff did their utmost to make you feel welcome and provide for your needs. This kind of 'omotenashi' is increasingly rare and I wish I could have stayed there more than 3 nights. I will definitely be back.

I used it for company benefits. The entrance is Instagrammable as soon as you enter, the building and greenery are beautiful, and there is a hammock in the garden that can be seen from the lobby, making it a perfect spot for commemorative photos. The large room that was shown to me made me feel better. I was able to reserve the hot spring pool in one hour per group. Amidst the chirping of the Higurashi, I was soothed by the bamboo scenery. So far so good. Dinner is probably treated as a recreational facility, so it seems to be the most basic, but really? was the level of For some reason, only the cold appetizers, pork patties, beef stew, and sashimi were delicious even though I came to Kaga. The hardest part was finding G when I was resting after taking a bath. I think it can't be helped because it's in the woods. However, I found it again in the open-air bath of the first bath the next morning. I called the front desk in a hurry, but no one answered the phone. After about 30 calls, there was no female staff, so I apologize. When I took a bath without looking, another G crossed my feet and I couldn't do it anymore. Another customer also said, ”I went out last night and contacted them, but no one exterminated them for the same reason.” Cicadas and canabens are floating in the open-air bath, and it seems that the bath has not been cleaned at all. I understand that there are many insects in the forest, but shouldn't it be maintained regularly? Once I felt uncomfortable, I questioned the cleanliness of everything, and after that I couldn't enjoy it. Is there a repeat...

Oedo Onsen Monogatari Yamashiro Onsen Yamashita family is a hot spring inn located in Yamashiro Onsen, Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Yamashiro Onsen is a hot spring located in Kaga City, Ishikawa prefecture, and is one of the largest hot spring towns in Hokuriku Prefecture. It is an old hot spring that begins with seeing a crow healing his feather wound on the way to Gyoki to practice at Reiho Hakusan in 725. On June 19, 2022, I left my home by car and ran 548km with Murotsu PA 〜 Mikata Goko PA. From there, I drove to Yamashiro Onsen. This time I will stay at the Oedo Onsen Monogatari Yamashiro Onsen Yamashita family. Take your grandmother down at the entrance and move to the parking lot. The parking lot is about a 5-minute walk away. It seems that about 50 cars can be parked in the first parking lot. I walk from here to the hotel, but it seems to be painful on rainy days and snowy days. Next to the Yamashita family, there is Yakuoin Onsenji Temple. Pass in front of Hoshino Resorts. In front of it is ”Kosoyu”. Kosoyu is a restored hot spring from the Meiji era, and the rest area on the second floor is said to have been restored as it was at that time. There is another ”Soyu” in Yamashiro Onsen, and common bathing tickets are also sold. The Yamashita family will stay on this day. It is said that the remains of the Kaga feudal lord's bathing pot are located beside the entrance. In addition, stone lanterns worshiped by Hideyoshi Toyotomi were also displayed. It is a historic hot spring inn that doesn't seem to be the story of Oedo Onsen (excuse me). The inside is like this. Grandma is checking in at the front desk. The lobby is very large. The building is divided into three, and first move to the next building by the connecting passage on the 5th floor. I also came to the 7th floor by elevator. I hate large-scale hotels because they are too far from the room (sweat;) Room 773 on this day. The refrigerator is just where I entered. The room is large and the futon is already pulled like the Oedo Onsen story. It is a Japanese-style room with 15 tatami mats. The view from the window is like this. TV and safe. Air purifier. Wash basin. The toilet is a hot water toilet seat. There was another room. It's a wasteful room for two more aunts to stay. I don't need it because I go to the public bath, so there is no bath. Immediately head to the bath. There is a lounge in the large communal bath, where you can enjoy free beer and ice cream as well as soft drinks. The large communal bath is not only on the 5th floor but also on the top floor. The open-air bath is here, and of course the lounge is all-you-can-drink. It was 6 o'clock, so I came to the dinner venue. It's a reserved seat, but a buffet. This time I tried the main tide soup. Grandma looks like this. I also got dessert firmly. After eating, I came to the large communal bath on the 4th floor. The source is here. It is a historic hot spring with a hot spring of 1300 years. The lounge is all-you-can-drink and ice cream is also available. Oedo Onsen Monogatari Yamashiro Onsen Yamashita Family Yamashiro Onsen, Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture 18-124 0570-041-261

It was a satisfying inn in terms of rooms, hot springs, meals, customer service, cleanliness, etc. In particular, the hot springs have a moist quality that feels like a lotion, and I took the open-air baths in the guest rooms many times. There wasn't anything special about the meal, but I was able to slowly eat warm food in the room, and all of them were delicious. Mr. Nakai's personality was good, and I was able to talk happily, and he was able to deal with allergies that I had told him in advance. It was good that I could move barefoot inside the inn without slippers. Also, I was grateful that the check-in time was 13:00 and I was able to stay until 12:00 the next day, so I was able to relax very slowly. Yamashiro Onsen itself is a small hot spring town, but this inn was a very comfortable time and space.

This hotel is invincible, the price including two meals is very reasonable, the child charge is also very reasonable, the bath is small and big enough, the service attitude is very good, breakfast and dinner are very exquisite, the variety is definitely enough although it is the same every day, even Stayed for three days, very close to the bus station, even if there is no shuttle bus, it is very convenient. The bus station also has two high-speed buses that go directly to Kanazawa Station and the main attractions twice a day, which definitely exceeded expectations

There is a shuttle bus from JR Kaga Onsen Station (it should be Yukuai's No. 2 bus, with timetable attached). It is very convenient. If there is no reservation, the driver will let you get on the bus. The room is really big, it is the largest room in my trip to Japan, I feel that there is no problem with ten people. The banquet dishes for dinner are also good, and the food is very satisfying. During the afternoon in the open-air bath, there is also free sake and plum wine. The service staff is very polite and constantly greets you and chats (he speaks Japanese, I speak Chinese and English, this five-minute awkward chat... Hahaha) If you leave the hotel, turn right and walk for a few minutes to the public baths, where you can experience the locals’ bathing, so don’t go for tattoos. There are hot springs for soaking your feet and hot springs for drinking in the square outside the baths. It is very comfortable to bring your own foot wipes to soak. It is a pity that I only stayed for one day due to the itinerary. I will definitely go to live for a few more days next time. The tranquility of the Hokuriku countryside is definitely a good place to relax on vacation.

When I was looking for a hot spring resort that was easy to get to from Kanazawa Station, I found out that I could get there by direct bus at a reasonable price, and visited Yamanaka Onsen. The hot water was good and the inn here was comfortable, so I will visit again. Please note that if you use the bus, it is a little far from the bus stop. However, if you stroll around town slowly, you will arrive in less than 10 minutes. This inn has a homey atmosphere with the employees working hard. In particular, there were several people who helped me during the evening and breakfast that I will never forget. .. Some people may think that it is something different when they imagine sophisticated hospitality like a super luxury ryokan, but I think that ryokan's selling point is human hospitality. For those who want to raise the grade, Kissho Yamanaka may be better. By the way, the hot springs are hot and the open-air bath is just right even in winter. The women's bath has an open-air bath and an open-air bath. The open-air bath is a little deep, so it may be dangerous for small children to enter. There are two private baths. Change in 45 minutes. I think that there is a certain difference in the contents of the dinner plan (perhaps this is the difference in the price). If you don't have it, you may want to focus on meat...Breakfast is heavy, partly buffet type. If you stay consecutive nights, they will take care of your meals. enough. The size and contents of the rooms vary, so if you have any concerns, it may be a good idea to consult with us. The view from the room also faces the scenic spot. I gave it a 4 because there was a slight mistake, but it's within the range of no problems. It became an inn that I want to visit again.

GGuest UserClean and stylish rooms that are thoroughly cleaned, staff members who are attentive while maintaining a safe distance from each other, and beautiful and delicious kaiseki cuisine made with the master chef's taste.Always clean. The large public bath and open-air bath are well-equipped with towels and supplies. I enjoyed my first a la carte kaiseki meal and chose the menu, and the seasoning and presentation were perfect. Also, my husband is Italian, but he's not used to having rice, miso soup, and fish in the morning, so I asked him if he could switch to a Western breakfast if possible, and he kindly agreed. I had a Japanese breakfast on the first day, but my husband's Western breakfast was also very appealing, so I asked him the day before if I could have a Western breakfast on the second day, even though I knew it would be impossible. I was able to enjoy a Japanese breakfast on the first day and a Western breakfast on the second day. Not only were the colors and presentation of the ingredients beautiful, but everything I ate was truly delicious. Everything was perfect. thank you very much.
GGuest UserIt was the end of the New Year holidays, and the room with an open-air bath was about 20,000 yen per person with dinner and breakfast during the fall sale online, so I used it for 1 night and 2 days. There is a free shuttle bus from Kaga Onsen Station. It was my first time staying at a hot spring inn with an open-air bath, but the room was just the right size for two people. It was a snowy day, and the view from the riverside room was very, very beautiful. Since it was a cheap plan, I thought it would be a restaurant for both dinner and breakfast, but it was nice to be able to have it in my room. The food was more than enough to fill me up. I was able to enjoy Kaga cuisine. The bath in the room was very hot, and even though it was snowing outside, my body felt warm. The ryokan has an old-fashioned feel to it as a whole, with hair falling here and there during the cleaning of the rooms, stains on the walls that look like spilled drinks, and dust behind the hanging scrolls. Beer cans left by previous guests in the open-air bath. Amenities were basic lotions, milky lotions, cleansers, toothpastes, and brushes. When I went to the other floor by mistake, the lighting was much darker and the carpet was full of stains, which reminded me of a haunted house. There was an old game machine in the game corner, but most of it is out of order. An elderly waitress served me, but she only asked me about dinner time, and I had to ask about the location of the safe and refrigerator, check-out time, breakfast time and place, shuttle bus time, etc. I was puzzled by all the things I shouldn't do. Meals were brought with a feeling of unmotivated, and there was no explanation of the dishes. At the end of the day, when I told him that the snowy scenery was beautiful, he smiled wryly and said, ”I'm sick of it from where I live,” and left. . It was the kind of service that made me feel that I was not welcomed the most at the ryokan I've ever been to. It was a cheap plan, so I just thought it couldn't be helped. .
XXINYINGThis is the first time to seriously review a hotel, because the experience of staying is really good. The hotel provides pick-up and drop-off from JR station to the hotel, because it was a temporary decision to stay at Kaga Onsen for one night. I called the hotel before boarding the train. There is a younger sister who can speak Chinese. The communication is good, and I will pick you up on time when I say hello to the arrival time. Because it was late, there were only three of us in the entire minibus. There is welcome tea upon check-in, luggage will be delivered to the room, there is boiling water in the kettle in the room, and there are biscuits on the table. In the Japanese-style room, I returned to the room after dinner and the bed was already made. The tea table was equipped with a thermos pot and water cup. I knew it was ice water when I came back from the hot spring. I wanted to drink some ice water after the hot spring. We ordered ”one night and two food”. The dinner was very rich and tasted good. The breakfast was a Japanese buffet. There were not many varieties but the quality was good. There are indoor and outdoor hot springs, and private baths can be reserved for 3,000 yen for 50 minutes and 5,000 yen for 100 minutes. Private baths have two indoor and outdoor pools, which are absolutely great value. When leaving, the staff will wave goodbye until the car disappears at the gate. The whole check-in process makes people feel warm, caring and just right, it is highly recommended!
DDushiDinner and breakfast were very luxurious and delicious.
However, regarding the faucet of the bath, there was a faucet with a broken temperature control, and the temperature could not be adjusted, and very hot water came out, which was difficult.
